Watching the news programs and social media today, there is very much a movement afoot to pin Coronavirus on President Trump and use it to try to sink his reelection. They’re cheerleading the stock-market dive because the run-up has been something the president has bragged about. They’re rooting for a pandemic with the idea that voters will turn to them in November. It’s insanity, of course. No voter with a brain could think that the party of open-borders and illegal immigration would somehow be handling this better, but, hey, you run with what you got. They smell blood in the water and they’re trying to take advantage of it.
Shut down the border and inspect everyone, turning away those determined to be a threat to the nation and focusing on the countries deemed to be most dangerous? Well the libs have fought every bit of that when he tried it with illegal immigration and terrorism.
If the President starts getting a handle on this, the left will start declaring Coronavirus sanctuaries praising those who live the pneumonic lifestyle of coughing on the uninfected.
He can borrow that vote counting app from the Democrats in Iowa. That should do it. :)
