CDC is a tower of incompetence right now, apparently. State and local health departments should be doing the heavy lifting. And why in heck do they need permission from the CDC to stock up on masks, tests, etc.? They should have just gone ahead and done so. Asking the CDC for permission is something best honored in the breach right now.
Yep. Sad thing is, my son was just referred for a promotion. He finally found his trade/niche and a great, salaried job. He does not want to rock the boat, but he feels very exposed. Regular flu has hospitalized him 3 times, requiring O2. We’re definitely worried.
Our local Hospital system is preparing now. They are already purchasing items. I think the only thing they are running low is the face mask.

The use of steroid treatments might account for the high death rate in Iran (and Italy?). A week ago the death count was almost 20% of the case count. Now it’s just 5.5%.
By contrast, Korea is 0.5%. Seems like I read there was a realization several weeks ago that steroid treatment was problematic ... I’d guess they knew that in Korea.

Yeah right, they took down China, Italy, South Korea, Japan, Iran just to get a shot at Trump. And now they are making government appear criminally negligent and homicidal just to get Trump. That last sentence might be true. Lol. Dont combine the two. You can have a bad disease and a bad hoaxing left. You need to perhaps think deeper, what if the left is making you behave suicidal ? It is a possibility you should consider at least. They took the lead from China.
We use the touchpad pens (also available at Walmart...lol...in the electronics section) for signing for ANY packages, CC charges, and signing touchpad screens.
We then wipe off pen with disinfecting wipe.
