Having made it so expensive with their living wage for employers to make a profit let alone stay in business, those employers do what they have always done to keep their profit margin they turn to technology. Only this time it's the ultimate, no more cashiers just kiosks and a lone counter person to pass the orders, no more cooks and assembler we got HAl2000 for that now we just need a guy to keep the raw product and packaging loaded and a guy to wash the equipment........for now. Oh but don't worry, for a while you can still count on a human to garble speech at the order board and screw your order up before they hand to you. But I'm sure they will develop a Cindy2000 to cover that too.
