Next the only way to fill those jobs was to tap the Hispanic demographic which the liberals eagerly facilitated for obvious reasons and then they started with stories about how difficult it was for these poor Hispanics to have a home and raise a family on a unskilled job never meant to support a family let alone a home.
Next step was the militantization of the in large part, sorry it's true, illegal fast food and other unskilled labor force demanding a so called living wage of $15 an hour......to start for a know nothing unskilled job.
And the finale? Having made it so expensive with their living wage for employers to make a profit let alone stay in business, those employers do what they have always done to keep their profit margin they turn to technology. Only this time it's the ultimate, no more cashiers just kiosks and a lone counter person to pass the orders, no more cooks and assembler we got HAl2000 for that now we just need a guy to keep the raw product and packaging loaded and a guy to wash the equipment........for now. Oh but don't worry, for a while you can still count on a human to garble speech at the order board and screw your order up before they hand to you. But I'm sure they will develop a Cindy2000 to cover that too.
The one plus side is even though we have F'd over our teens, the liberals lose a big part of their argument that we need uneducated fodder from south of the border for jobs that no longer exist.

Used to be nice cheery HS girls with bright smiles screwing up the burger order. Who cared, it was fun. Then it was 40 year old Mexican males who didn’t understand Ingles, and I didn’t even want to talk to them. The robot will be better. But no fun anymore...
I did find some places along I-95 where they still employed American kids to serve burgers/fries/ice cream, but that’s probably the last place in the country except for maybe Frostbite Falls MN, and I’m sure there’s a caravan of illegals headed there soon.
Right along with strawberry picking machines coming on line everywhere except California, the Left will have managed to make all their client populations literally unemployable. Good job, morons.
