I thought there were only two that originated here. The spouses of two people who had visited China. The others were contracted by persons who recently returned from China.
“Its just their latest scare-tactics to bring down the President.”
So China, Italy, South Korea and now Israel are all willing to sabotage their own economies in an attempt to remove President Trump?
That is not a reasonable assertion.
If they aren't clinically sick they won't even be tested. And if they present with ALL the symptoms, they will have to wait until a test kit becomes available.
So far a whopping 415 Americans have been tested.
We don't seem to have any more test kits.
If we had more, there would be 546 tests completed. (435 congressmen, 100 senators, 9 supreme court justices, the president, and the vice president)
I think they watch how many articles you’ve read, and after so many they hit you up for a subscription. At least, that’s what other websites appear to do.
"Goodbye, Vince."?
Influenza can cause pneumonia on its own. It’s called, quite appropriately, influenza pneumonia.
I’ve read that the R0 for this WuFlu is at least 2.5, while R0 for the flu is between 1.1 and 1.5. So, yes, it’s at least a bit more contagious.
The people who die of the flu are the very young and very old (or immune compromised) who get pneumonia. My favorite way of avoiding anything like that is to take Mucinex and Sudafed and it helps to keep it from dropping into my chest. I think that gives your body a chance to fight it off.
Wash hands, keep house clean, load up on Mucinex, Sudafed and Sambucol. Hit it the minute you feel something coming down on and dont wait until you are sick. My two cents......it works for me
Yep, the Deep State caused 12 towns to shut down in Italy, quarantined a floating Petri dish in Japan, and idled nearly 1/10 of the world’s population in China.
Yes, I can see the Deep State mixing things up here. Just look at the incompetence of the CDC with their WuFlu tests. But to simply dismiss this as simply another type of flu or cold (which it will hopefully be to most, or even all, people in the US) is foolish, IMO. Buy extra stuff from the store, because if you’re diagnosed with this particular “cold”, you will undoubtedly be asked to stay home for at least two weeks.
Usually, it’s bacterial sepsis that does the killing in that it rides in on the damage due to flu especially if the flu settles into pneumonia and fluid accumulates due to cytokine damaged tissues due to SIRS. Very rare that the virus kills the body directly; its the body’s response that can set us up for failure. I am an ICU nurse and I have seen it frequently enough, but most get turned around quickly with abx’s and steroids, pressors, and fluid support. If shock and kidney failure occurs, CVVHD gentle dialysis can be used.(The mortality rates climb based on the number of body systems showing damage)
Flu deaths are usually 1-2 percent totals of all flu cases and usually take out folks who haven’t taken care of themselves, or are very old, or the very young. So that’s probably why you haven’t seen too many direct flu deaths.
“Flu/Pneumonia/Sepsi Death in less than 4 days”
Someone I knew from an online forum died from flu the exact way you described. He was only 50 years old and was healthy prior to the infection. It is certainly nothing you want to take lightly. I am sorry for your loss :-(.
The bad thing about this is that you don’t know in the beginning that it is going to turn out that way. So I start my protocol at the first sign to prevent an issue. I figure it is possible there is some genetic quirk that might make me more susceptible.
By the time you make it to the ER it is really often too late. You cant get a blood test back quickly unless you go the ER.
I started getting sick the day after some Asians were coughing all over me. Started my protocol and knocked it out overnight. So likely just a cold.
I read that if you have a runny nose it is not Wuhan Flu. No idea if true.
Stock up on food in case there is a quarantine.
I’ve done that and I bet you have too.
First time there.
I don’t know, then.
Clear your cookies anyway, and see what happens.
‘it’s not a reasonable assertion.’ I am just quoting Rush Limbaugh. Look at the CDC stats
61,000 deaths in US last year, regular flu and flu-related; 250,000 in hospital. 56,000 deaths the year before, regular flu
Corona Virus - 3000 deaths worldwide; 80,000 hospitalized worldwide.
Sounds like just another flu to me ...
