Scary...and, shocking, if true.
I wonder why the woman didn’t get the same *treatment*.
My son has been back & forth in S Korea and Japan for 3 weeks and there the month before. Hes back in the states for a few days. Probably will return this month again. Hes fine.
I said it yesterday and I meant it.
I wish I lived in Singapore.
THEIR health authorities seem to actually CARE if they live or die.
Ours just do things for political reasons and to see if their brother-in-laws company can get the government contract for that.
Incubation can take up to 3 weeks.
Let us know in 3 weeks.
Well-for some reason that map isnt updating. I am using the exact same map. There are 36 cases in Kansas
Secy Azar was just on, with Lou Dobbs.
He said w/POTUS ‘unprecendented measures’ we have protected Americans...and, that with these measures....we hope to slow it down, buy ourselves time and continue to build up our forces and be prepared’....
Something along those words.

@aliarouzi
This is #Irans deputy health minister, who we now know has #coronavirus, giving an interview about #COVID19 on state TV last night. The anchor says to him you are coughing he says maybe I should cover my mouth like this

CIA, FBI and State tried to take him down with impeachment.
It was CDC/HHS’s turn up at bat.
Brazil has first positive COVID-19 test, but new test needed
This Tuesday, 25, Brazil had a first positive coronavirus test. According to the Ministry of Health, this is a 61-year-old man, residing in São Paulo, with a history of traveling to Italy, in the Lombardy region (north of the country), working alone, in the period from 9 to February 21st. There is still a new test, which will take place on Wednesday, 26, to treat the diagnosis as confirmed.
This Tuesday afternoon, the case was reported by Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein as a suspected coronavirus. With preliminary results performed by the health unit and in accordance with the National Contingency Plan, the hospital sent the sample to the national reference laboratory, Instituto Adolfo Lutz, for counterproof.

I can confirm I’ve heard from multiple labs that there isn’t an understanding of what exactly went wrong with the third reagent in CDC’s diagnostic test. #COVID19.

I better get some gas tomorrow!
N ot getting much from the ‘China hands’ I follow but...
My impression is that China has gone back to work with people who weren’t in infected areas. Migrant workers from those areas will finish quarantine next week and go back to work.
Meanwhile production is at about 30%- a good start. (Though smaller companies may not be doing that well, even.
China has strict rules about those back to work now. Very strict.

In concliusion: China may be quickly going back in production if outbreaks are contained. Both this week and next.
Lot to be cleared up like containers, but it would be very bullish.
OTOH, if there are outbreaks or a second wave- just the opposite.
Especially since it seems China has already done all it can financially.

In new research developments, a team from Wuhan, China, reports that even asymptomatic patients with COVID-19 pneumonia have abnormal lung findings on computed tomography (CT), and a group from Beijing noted that viral loads from infected patients appear to peak 5 to 6 days after symptom onset
Comment of something to consider in lieu of tests. Has the CDC made doctors aware of this?
Yeah!
Drive that price up!
The oil companies need your extra money!
“Listening to Rush is making people stupid.”
Rush is the best political analyst of our time, and has correctly identified the fact the left will blame Trump for the virus. They will attempt to Katrina him over it.
But he really sucks as an assessor of this virus impact.
He’s calling it the sniffles and generally berating anyone who disagrees based on facts.
When we have documented community spread here, and we will, Rush will have to eat crow.
Not to mention our government shows no outward signs of response levels every other infected country has prudently implemented.
In Austria, a young Italian couple who live in Innsbruck in the Tyrol were confirmed to have the virus. One of the pair worked at a hotel, which has been closed
Switzerland said a man in his seventies living in Ticino, bordering Italy, had been infected in the city of Milan on 15 February and was now in isolation A man in Croatia who recently returned from Italy became the first confirmed patient in the Balkans
In Tenerife, up to 1,000 guests were locked down in a hotel after an Italian doctor and his wife tested positive for the virus
Spain reported its first case on the mainland, involving a woman in Barcelona who had been to northern Italy
France and Germany also reported new cases involving people who had recently been to northern Italy

NEW: Cayman Islands government says it is denying entry to the Meraviglia cruise ship because 2 of its crew members aren’t well. Jamaica also denied entry.
So.
Italy has enough cases to export them randomly.
Will we shut down travel from Italy?
How about from South Korea?
Mmmmmmmaybe sometime next week...airlines might lose money. Or something.
