I will have to believe PIF on that one. I have seen some very shady fast food joints where the employees are not following the company policies. I have walk out of a few fast food places without placing an order because the way the workers look and dress.
There was a Wendy’s that became famous recently where a person posted a photo on social media where they were taking a bath in the sink.

Study begins in US to test possible coronavirus treatment

The first clinical trial in the U.S. of a possible coronavirus treatment is underway in Nebraska and is eventually expected to include 400 patients at 50 locations around the world, officials said Tuesday.
Half of the patients in the international study will receive the antiviral medicine remdesivir while the other half will receive a placebo. Several other studies, including one looking at the same drug, are already underway internationally.

I agree. We don’t have enough reliable information to really assess this, particularly not people like us, doing it second-hand on the Internet. But even in the worst case, panic is not going to help anybody.
Panicking won’t save anybody’s life and will make the whole thing harder to manage (in the worst case scenario). Actually, even in the best case scenario (basic flu with average death rate), panicking will make it harder to manage.
A little reasonable preparation - Vitamin C and zinc, which actually does help the immune system, and sanitation. I went and ordered several bottles and sprays of hand sanitizer, since they were already sold out at my local stores - and now I’m looking for a source for good masks (make sure they go up high on the cheeks and don’t let in a lot of air) since even the crummy masks are sold out locally. So obviously people beat me to the prep!
And if they have to shut down DC for awhile and those folks have to “work” at home and can’t get together to plot in person, that’s actually all for the good.

A 25-year-old man is infected with the new coronavirus, the German regional state of Baden-Württemberg announced on Tuesday, adding that he had been “presumably infected in Italy, in Milan”.
The man was hospitalized in solitary confinement, the ministry of social affairs in the southwest region of Germany said. “The person fell ill with flu-like symptoms after returning home and then contacted local health authorities,” the ministry said in a statement.
This new case brings the number of people infected in Germany to 17. The rest of the infected are treated in Bavaria (south) and Hesse (west). The regional health services “are currently identifying the people in contact with the patient” , who will be “isolated at home” and consulted every day.

The comment wasn’t about other quick serve chains, it was about McDonalds. The citadel of consistency. I was in the industry; still talk to a couple of store managers near daily. Also in contact with the county health department. And in a store near daily.
It means the Deep State has unwinded all the positions it can on the stock market and has figured out wedges to profit from the coronavirus disaster it actually caused. With a government like this, who needs crooks ?

That appears to be their gameplan. Once the test kits magically appear, all of a sudden numbers jump like crazy. CDC is shocked and blames everything on lack of funding and cut backs from Trump.
Current mortality rates of modern, honest countries are SK 1.023%, IT 3.106%, JP 0.588%, HK 2.381%
Approx 75% of of remaining cases are not considered “recovered” yet. Japan low percentage is probably because most cases were that cruise ship and many were sent back to their homeland(they didn’t die here, doesn’t count)
