I’m sick of lefties standing up in church during prayer time and spouting off leftie talking points. I’ve wanted to stand up in those churches and offer a long diatribe about how thankful we are for Trump. But it wouldn’t be right.

You should have told him that Bloomberg’s plot to destroy the Democratic Party is working. Tell him, in fact, that Bloomberg is a undercover brother (former Republican), who has the money and the ambition to end the Democratic party as we know it. He was planted their by Trump Operatives, and might even be co-funded by other billionaires (like Trump and Steyer)....ha,ha,ha, ha. That should send him over the edge! Tell him that actually, Bloomberg is an oratorical genius, who intentionally tanked his debate to look like a fool. He did look like a fool, so I guess he is not only a great orator, but an accomplished spy/actor...
I plan to tweak people at work over voting for Bernie when my state’s primary rolls around. I may actually vote for him, depending on what seems most strategic at the time.
My co-workers are big time Dems and have TDS, but I think for most of them Sanders is a bridge too far.
You remember being offended by him many years ago, he doesn’t. Now that you’ve gone out of your way to offend him back, this will define your relationship because your main emotional memory of one another is negative.

Democrats have been begging for socialism for a long time. Now they are getting it good and hard.
Of course the reason why we’re happy is that a Bernie Sanders nomination guarantees not only the Trump will be reelected by a massive margin, but that the Democratic Party will suffer in mans losses throughout the nation. Even the Democrats recognize that the American public won’t buy this, and a lot of that American public is those Democrats themselves. They may wish for a welfare state, but that is an entirely different thing from an out right socialist economy, let alone a communist political system that would have to be imposed in order safeguard that economic system.
As for me, in about two weeks I am going to do my part to piss off Democrats. I am going to walk into the polling place wearing a Trump 2020 T-shirt, and then ask for a Democrat ballot. Of course I am going to vote for Bernie. I very much wish to see him be the nominee, for the reasons stated above. I cannot wait to see the look on peoples faces when I do that. What makes this particularly delicious is that the very people who wanted open primaries in so many states were the Democrats. Now we Republicans can engage in Operation Chaos on steroids, and really screw over the Democrats using their own weapon against them. Can you say “schadenfreude?”
