Steven Spielberg's adopted 23-year-old daughter Mikaela has revealed she is working as a porn star, while opening up about the sexual abuse that she suffered as a child.
In a new interview, the Nashville-based adult film star, who was adopted as a baby by Spielberg, 73, and his wife Kate Capshaw, 66, revealed that she only recently told her parents about her new line of work, but said that they have been very supportive of her career choice.
'My safety has always been a number one priority for them,' she told The Sun, while revealing that she broke the news to them via FaceTime over the weekend. 'I'm doing this, not out of an urge to hurt anybody or be spiteful about it, I'm doing this because I want to honor my body in a way that's lucrative.'
Describing herself as a 'sexual creature', Mikaela went on to explain that she was eager to find a way to 'capitalize on her body', having grown frustrated with working in a more traditional job that 'wasn't satisfying her soul'.
She also shared that her new career has given her a feeling of empowerment and confidence that she never thought she'd be able to have, with the budding stripper revealing that she suffered abuse at the hand of 'predators' as a child, which later sparked a series of mental health issues.

Sounds like she was passed around the Spielberg circles.
I work a lot with adopted children, usually later in life when problems manifest.
It’s a lot more complex than most realize.
She needs our prayers.
and yes, one wonders who did the abuse, but if she is really messed up, she might accuse another person who is innocent. I've seen that also.
Particularly when billions of dollars are at stake.

No, they did not say that.
SHE said they said that to her.
She also said they hoped she would be safe.
They might have said that, most parents who have been taken over the coals by their mentally ill and behaviorly disregulated children, hope for the adult child’s safety but also recognize that they have little or no further impact in the child’s life.
Work with these folks everyday.
They are damaged beyond belief and the truth is what they feel at the moment.

I agree with the latter part of your comment. I’m not a user of porn, and if by chance I started, would never pay for that, or give it a second look if free.
But I do feel sorry for the girl, for her parents are not exactly ideal. Being a second rate porn actress, she’s in for a life of difficult times likely including drugs, depression, physical abuse and worse.
And her so called parents are either ignorant of this probability or just do not care. Like good libs, their kid is headed down the crap hole and they celebrate it.
I’m going to guess pre-natal exposure to alcohol, which does awful things to kids in utero. Kids with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder suffer terrible consequences that can’t be “cured”, only adapted to. Even with the best support, which many don’t get, life on their own as adults can be very hard.
Back when I was a young man A list strippers and porn stars had to be at least attractive. I guess that’s changed.
Even being in porn movies can’t get the attention she craves from her parents. Maybe they are her problem?
