If it is legal to be buried without embalming and without a coffin, I wonder why they just don’t do that. To me that seems ideal. Very old-school and very respectful.

Jewish burials are never (supposed to be) embalmed.
The coffin (or simple shawl — or cardboard box) is 100% natural.
Don’t let the liberals find out — or they will suddenly oppose the practice.
