Majors, 18, was at Morningside Park in New York City on Dec. 11 when three teenagers tried to rob her. She was stabbed repeatedly during a struggle.
A 14-year-old boy was arrested and charged in the murder of Barnard College student Tessa Majors, who was killed during an armed robbery in a New York City park in December.
He is the second teen charged in the killing. A 13-year-old was arrested days after the incident and charged with second-degree murder, robbery and a weapons-related count.
"Sadly, it cannot bring back this young woman, this student, this victim," New York City Police Department Commissioner Dermot Shea said at a news conference Saturday of the 14-year-old's arrest. "That is something that even the best, most impartial investigation simply cannot do."
"What we can do is say that we are confident that we have the person in custody who stabbed her," he added.
The 14-year-old suspect was taken into custody around 10:30 p.m. Friday in Manhattan, Shea said
He was charged with two counts of second-degree murder, one count of first-degree robbery and three counts of second-degree robbery, District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. added.
He was arraigned on the charges Saturday. NBC News is not identifying either of the suspects because they are juveniles.
Majors, 18, was at Morningside Park on Dec. 11 when three teenagers tried to rob her, police said. One of the teens put her in a chokehold as the others rifled through her pockets. Authorities said Majors fought back and bit one of the robbers' fingers.
“Sadly nothing will happen to them”
Beat me to it.
Teenagers...they wont release names OR pics.
...
It’s the choice of the corrupt media. There’s no law against it.
Saw a pic on OAN - you are correct- just some yutes trying to make a living and better themselves...
I grew up in Queens. In 1966, one of my Amish playmates, a lad of 15, who lived down the block, one day went to a crowded bus stop and asked a young Jewish man, 21, who just been is discharged from the Army, were he served as a platoon leader in Vietnam, for the time. As he glanced at his wristwatch, my neighbor plunged a knife into his chest in front of dozens of witnesses, killing him. Later that evening, his mother brought him into the police station, covered with blood.
He was released on his 21st birthday. He used the occasion to physically and violently assault a hapless young white man.
When youre raised by the likes of Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan and the esteemed pastor of President Obama - Jeremiah Wright, this is what you get: kids who hate America, and hate the people who built it. A festering rage, fueled by hate is boiling just below the surface of todays youth. Until they are taught the truth this will only get worse.
Second degree murder for killing someone in an armed robbery. I think that is a capital offense in most states.
Picture & name of the 14 year old was on ABC News last night. Black kid.
...and 20 years from now will be documentary film telling us he was a good boy, misidentified.
Yes, they are Amish.
The big push now from the libturds is that there are too many blacks in the US prison system. They are 13% of the US population but what is the percentage of violent crimes committed in the US every year?
I seem to recall it being said that this pretty victim was out looking to score dope in the wee hours of the morning.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes
It wasnt late at night.
You don’t suppose these youts were obamasons ...
Attack occurred at 7pm. She didnt deserve to be killed. A witness heard them say take the pot. She was a fool to go down the steps to that pit alone, but didn’t deserve to die.

“Attitudinal female naively provokes killers by assuming feminine superiority”
The victims roommate told police she was looking to buy weed from the utes. Bad choices in life.
It’s New York...they are probably back out on the street already never to be seen again.
“...14-year-old boy..”
“Boy”? Tsk, tsk,
