Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan reports 70 new #coronavirus cases, rising total to 355
Go to the BNO site. Look at the first paragraph. I copy the lines in bold. You want numbers, go find your numbers. I am not your research intern.
The stats suggest you will live. People keep focusing on the mortility rate.
The stats also suggest 20% or more end up in serious or critical shape for quite a while. During my entire life I have never been sick with a flu that put me in ICU for weeks. So I don’t want my life screwed up like that.
If the scenario plays out like that the doctors will be amongst the first ones to go down. It might be just matter of time before the government starts buying up any possibly effective drugs for themselves and the military. There is already rumors the the gov is buying up emergency food supplies and I checked a bunch of sellers and most of them seem to be either very low or out of stock and/or very long wait times - like 30 days or so. Good luck!
For some of the most up to date info on the virus, please check out the Epoch Times. They have an entire section devoted to this, and since they are based in Taiwan, no censorship.
The Americans are being evacuated from the Diamond Princess tomorrow.
As I wrote repeatedly, I am not worried about getting sick or dying. I am worried about the economic and social impacts. Whether its a pandemic or not seems irrelevant. 400 mil people are shut down. Thats in cities amounting to almost the total population of the US and Canada.
That is going to leave a mark.
That IS impressive.
I’d like to see a chart, like that, for the USA.
(Ha!)
Thanks.
bingo!
Why don’t YOU post the recovery numbers/%, rather than jumping on every thread and asking for info that you’re not willing to EASILY find, on your own?
Oh, and please include a link to your recovery rate post.

most likely they are waiting for everyone on that ship to get sick, they are more of a danger off the boat to US.
I do believe that virus would be on all their belongings, too, so, if they debark, they bring it with them regardless if they themselves have it.
The more I read, the more I think the secret videos out of China shows the Chinese KNOW this is bad and what they are doing is a necessity to survive, one that the west barely has the political will to initiate.
Think Samsung and LG pulled all or most of manufacturing out of Communist China to the rest of Asia.
Tim Cook? His nose is so buried up Winnie Xi Poohs ass-crack, its no going to happen.
Exactly. The formula they use to determine deaths per case is complicated, taking into consideration the number of days it takes from infection to death. Its much higher than the flu.
“I am getting more optimisticbut lets see how the cruise ship and a few of the Asian countries that arent China turn out.”
Cruise ship in Japan just had 70 more people tested positive with the virus. Bring the number infected on that one cruise ship 298.
Last week was our last week of ‘bliss’, with that being that the direct effects of Chinese cutoff hadn’t reached our West Coast. Now we’re 2 weeks out from the Lunar New Year and the ships that should have started their journeys from the huge terminals in China at the end of the New Year would just about be showing up at our shores now. And so the spot shortages of all types of items will start to appear by Monday, and we’ll see something we’re not used to in our stores, which will be empty spaces. And those spaces will gradually grow, more and more.
At some point, despite the soothing words of government and some people here, most Americans will figure out that if they want a smart phone, toilet paper, or just about anything else, they better buy it NOW, as the next opportunity will be months, maybe years away. And that then starts the large-scale panic buying.
That’s when the Shiite hits the fan.
“If the virus spreads to the wider public, we won’t be able to keep track of patients and may have to place them in shared rooms with noncoronavirus patients,” said professor Hitoshi Oshitani of the Tohoku University School of Medicine.
