Has the Deep State beaten Bill Barr?
americanthinker.com ^ | 02/15/2020 | Todd Gregory and Erik Gregory

Willaim Barr assumed the reins of the Department of Justice (DOJ) a year ago, succeeding Jeff Sessions as attorney general (A.G.) of the United States. By universal consensus, the tenure of Sessions was an epochal shipwreck, disfigured as it was by Sessions, who infamously and needlessly recused himself from the entire Deep State Russia Hoax while simultaneously declining to root out Deep State operatives obsessed with removing Trump from office (to say nothing of maintaining and even extending legal protections afforded the likes of Hillary Clinton and Lois Lerner, among other Democrat-friendly government officials). Like Pontius Pilate, Sessions washed his hands of the matter and allowed the coup-plotters of the ironically named Justice Department to proceed against Trump unopposed.

You’re fighting a (de)lousing battle, but somebody’s gotta pick the knits!

That was my joke about Sessions..i kept saying, any day now Sessions is going to lower the boom.
Weeks turned into months and before you know 2 years had past and essentially nothing was done.

It’s kind of difficult to imagine that nothing significant has been accomplished in ONE YEAR.
Look what President Trump has accomplished in one year and he has massive forces working against him.

To bad Trump can’t put someone with real world experience as AG.
Or,
if he could find a reformed swamp thing.(there must be one out there somewhere?) ..someone who knows who’s who in the swamp?

There are no non-Deep State Attorney General Candidates that the Deep State Senate would confirm. IMHO

All of you whimpering fools keep predicting failure for three years.

Right now, I am torn between wanting victory over the Deep State and the self-immolation by these boo-birds if that happens, and the continued whining if it doesn’t.

It is sounding a lot like the ramp at a jet fighter base.

See #32. McCabe turned out to be a great asset for Trump back in 2016. LOL.

It is a losing battle indeed. Just writing that I had to think about how to spell losing and I get to whine about it.

I’ll get flamed all day by those who claim the right to not have to spell correctly and practice correct usage.

All day, or at least as long as this thread is on the front page.

I teach tenth grade English so I am used to hearing wrong arguments from those determined to be on the losing end of life. They think spell check or their secretaries will get them out of the jam as their Mommies promise them. The closest they’ll ever get to a secretary is watching replays of “Iron Man” on Prime.

Yeah. The cleansing will be ugly if done from the outside. But it’s the only way.

An honorable prosecutor does not indict cases he cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt.

Barr either refuses to cleanup DOJ or is incapable of cleaning it up.
Too many Deep Staters for 1 man.

Jason mentioned a House Bill, I thought he said 202 that was introduced by Dem and co-sponsored by Republican that the Senate should vote NO on it as it protects DOJ prosecutors from from prosecution.

S. 685 Inspector General Access Act of 2019
and
H.R. 202 Inspector General Access Act of 2019

"Did POTUS tweet about McCabe yesterday? No. There is your answer. There is something very ugly going on behind the scenes inside the beltway and no amount of sunshine pumping will change that fact."

Yes it does, unfortunately.

I could be wrong but I think that letting McCabe go was a trade off for Roger Stone sentence review.

I don’t personally think that this problem can be corrected with elections.

These are some very evil people.

An honorable prosecutor does not indict cases he cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt.

If Barr is claiming that he can’t or would have big trouble convicting a whole host of Dems he is not an honest man. If Barr is claiming that he couldn’t EASILY build a case against the same Dems he’s lying thru his damned teeth.

Is there any indication that he or Durham are investigating anything involving the Democrats beyond statements and announcements that they are?
