It is a losing battle indeed. Just writing that I had to think about how to spell losing and I get to whine about it.
I’ll get flamed all day by those who claim the right to not have to spell correctly and practice correct usage.
All day, or at least as long as this thread is on the front page.
I teach tenth grade English so I am used to hearing wrong arguments from those determined to be on the losing end of life. They think spell check or their secretaries will get them out of the jam as their Mommies promise them. The closest they’ll ever get to a secretary is watching replays of “Iron Man” on Prime.
You're not only fighting a losing battle....you're fighting WWIII, and you are destined to lose.
I appreciate the effort, though. I was hooked on books by way of my parents and my eighth-grade English teacher, and have been reading and writing since.
You'll hook one or two as well, every so often...make sure not to lose them!
