Jim Carrey has been dubbed a 'sleazebag' after he told a female journalist that the she was the 'only thing left to do' on his bucket list.
Charlotte Long interviewed the actor during a promotional junket for Sonic The Hedgehog.
She asked the 58-year-old what goals he still had left to accomplish in his life, to which Carrey replied: 'Just you.'
n a video of the interview, the Heat magazine reporter laughs and says: 'I don't know what to say to that,' with Jim replying: 'Just own it'.
Carrey provoked fury from social media users, with one saying they 'lost respect' for the Dumb and Dumber star.
One user wrote: 'Such a huge fan of @JimCarrey but lost respect for him today. This is really unacceptable, I wish and hope he apologises to you.'
Another said: 'Unfortunately it turns out Jim Carrey is a massive sleazebag.'
Another user added: 'Why is this kind of thing still going on? Well handled, you're a legend.'

OK for a reporter, I guess, but nothing to write home about.
A generation or two ago, this would have been classified as flirting, and the reporter would have laughed and moved on.

Shocking that anyone would actually harbor respect for someone whose claim to fame is being a moron.
Carrey is mentally ill. He needs help and I hope he gets some soon.

The very fact it triggered snowflakes like it did is OK with me.
Carrey is a walking petri dish of STD’s. This was a threat.
He can validly use the insane defense .... look at those eyes, it tells you everything.

But one thing that cannot be fairly said about him is that he has "no talent." He is a brilliant actor/comedian/impressionist.
For example, who can you think of who could do this funny incredibly masterful impression of Sammy Davis Jr.?

He has made some great movies. And up until he started opening his mouth with his stupid political opinions, he was one of my favorite celebrities.

Please don’t disrespect sleazebags that way. He is not that good.
He deserves no defence whatsoever. He’s part of the problem so he should own it.
Carry is a jerk but not for this. It was just a dumb joke. This woke crap is a pain.
