Put your name and # on the list of all candidates. You'll hear from a volunteer. I got a call from Bernies people and said I'm not voting-don't like any of them. A persuasion attempt ensued. I advised her not to fall in love with a politician as they will all disappoint you. That let me set up set up how 'my' candidate Bernie got screwed and accepted it. Plant the seed in the young girls mind. Life lesson in a teachable moment.
A reverse missionary strategy. Let them come to you.
I do the same with mailing lists.
ACLU, SPLC, dem candidates for offices big and small, etc.
And I return every business reply envelope with as much paper as I can stuff in there.
I waste as much of their time and resources as possible.
Look. It doesn’t involve switching parties and voting for the whacko. Just small scale persuasion. Think of seminar callers on. I agree with you 90% BUT...
25 states have open primaries. Go vote for Bernie in the primary. Hes unelectable and Trump will stomp him. His nomination might be the end of the Dem party.
Hmmm. This gives me an idea of what to do with about 10 pesky rolls of pennies I have had for years from when I used to bother to put my change in coin wrappers. Now I push all my coins through this slot in one of those battery operated change counting jugs and take it to the credit union when full. They have a machine that counts it for free. The counts from both devices are usually within $1.50 for about $200 worth of change.
Anyway, I was going to research whether the casino in my area has penny slots.
Now I think I will just check off the “other amount” donation line on those forms that come with donation requests with 1 cents and write something about here’s a penny for my thought about the work you are doing and put it in their business reply envelope.
That’s what we’re going to do - same with our gubernatorial candidates. If the current Lt Gov moves up, we’ll be moving out.

These peep freaks don’t need our help
The only problem I see with your strategy is deciding what tack to take when a campaign volunteer calls or comes to my door.
Do I respond that I would like to vote for the democrat candidate over racist Trump but was disappointed by the racism displayed against Yang? After all, he has hardly been asked any questions in the debates I have seen. Warren, Butt, etc. (whoever the volunteer represents) could have called the party out on this but didn’t.
Or do I ask them if they agree with the relatively high level Bernie campaign staff in the O’Keefe videos that Trump supporters should be put in re-education camps or millionaires should be guillotined? You don’t agree. I do, I could say. I guess I will have to just vote for the Communist Party candidate instead.
No guillotine talk. Give no address. Just tell them they need to get their s—t together before you vote for anyone. I said Bernie could croak in office so his vp choice is not even addressed. Then ask if the caller would follow any of them into battle. If I don’t they don’t win. The caller can then question her efforts.
BTW Newsmax has an article today on ‘open’ primaries in SC & NH. Apparently NH is open for independents and SC has no Trump challenger allowing GOP voters to pick whomever they please, even Buttgig. The article points to Bernie. I say tweak the black voter(SC).
Doesn’t apply to me. My state votes after Super Tuesday. It is basically an open primary state in that you can choose which party’s primary to vote in when you walk in. If you vote in the same party’s primary two primary elections in a row, you are considered a member of that party.
I have plenty of time to decide who to vote for and the results from several earlier primaries to help me decide.
“Will Bernie be robbed again?”
My current strategy.
