ATLANTA, GAEveryone was really happy that the Allied forces stopped Hitler. Everyone, that is, except CNN, who published a retrospective on the war this week, zeroing in on the real issue of Operation Overlord: no gay female trans POCs in any of the units.
While most people were really grateful that Hitler was defeated, despite the U.S. military's wider segregation issues at the time, most people are not as woke as CNN, who condemned the entire operation as racist and xenophobic. "Ugh, look at all these cisgendered males," the CNN opinion piece read. "At some point, you have to ask yourself which is worse: living under Hitler's regime or getting rescued by straight, white males."

As people on Instapundit say, BB is the NEW America's Paper of Record.
I know it’s satire... for now.
The Left is diligently working in academia to make it “real”, though.
Well if you watch Ken Burns documentaries, he’ll tell you blacks won the war single-handedly.
The bullets didn’t discriminate.
LOL!

Incoming fire has the right-of-way.
During my career as a jr high history teacher, I got to pick which textbooks to use. As the years passed, the books got worse and worse. It became easier and easier to pick which texts to eliminate. If there was more space devoted to the role of women in the Civil War than Grant or Lee, the book was out. If, by looking at the illustrations, one got the impression that black soldiers made up the bulk of fighting men in WWII, it was out. I’m not kidding, one book’s photos of WWII had no pictures of white American soldiers.
Pretty much WWII history is now:
-The Soviet Union defeated Nazi Germany, single-handedly, while the US didn’t even bomb the death camps.
-Dresden will only be mentioned, not Rotterdam, or Coventry or Warsaw.
-The Japanese were only trying to kick Western Colonialists out of Asia. And of course Hiroshima and Nagasaki were war crimes.
There will be almost as much space devoted to Japanese internment camps as Nazi concentration camps. Almost, but not quite, judged to be morally equivalent.
Yes, that too.
I have been watching Speilberg’s “Band of Brothers” on Amazon which follows a company in the 101st Abn Division from Normandy to the end of WW II. To Speilberg’s credit, there are no fictitious “Magic Negros” in the company as was the historical case.
All the soldiers are white as in his other WW II epic, The Pacific, about the Marine 1st Div fighting from Guadalcanal to Okinawa.
But considering the way the Cultural Marxists are increasingly dominating our culture, any remakes in fifty years will rewrite history to make Ike, Paton, and Rosevelt black.
