... he cut a check to Donald Trump’s inaugural committee for a million dollars. He bought a public office. That is the height of corruption.”

Bloomberg is spending BILLIONS to buy an elected office

Trump needs to appoint an anti corruption commission. Go after the swamp. How anyone can defend the Joe Hunter Biden issue is beyond me. How can we possibly teach about ethics and let that stand is beyond me.

Fauxahontas isn’t going after Joe Biden.
the key take away from this speech is this. The Democrat definition of corruption is being a Republican.

Fauxahontas is going to outlaw the opposition. She will use the force of govt to punish people in other parties.

“Elizabeth Warren Rails Against Very Same Corporations She Worked To Benefit”

https://sonsof1776.com/2020/01/31/elizabeth-warren-rails-against-very-same-corporations-she-worked-to-benefit/

She gets paid by the goobermint to write a law, then she gets paid by corporations to help them evade the law she wrote.

Nice work if you can get it.

"“The good news is that I have the biggest anti-corruption plan since Watergate,” she said. “The bad news is there aren't enough ignorant voters to elect a screeching harridan."

Edited for clarification.

Foreign policy is an object of the President’s authority.

It is the President, not the State Department that actually decides foreign policy that diplomats and the state department carry out.

Ambassadors being chosen by Presidents because they have the trust and respect of the President, not prior diplomatic experience, is as old as the Republic. How they come to have that trust and respect is of the President’s personal choosing, not an academic test for other supposed “qualifications”.

Warren should keep in mind the history of her own party and it’s presidents choices for Ambassadors, like JFK’s father who was said to have “bought” his ambassadorship to Great Britain.

This is actually great. She can go way back & document people who falsely claimed to be an American Indian. Especially people who got scholarships and high paying jobs from their lie.

Then she could arrange for the faux Indians to repay their victims. Out of their pocket.

Get going Liz.

Sorry, Liz. That was last time...

What about buying a professorship at a prestigious university by lying about your ethnicity? Isn’t that corruption?

Hiring major contributors as ambassadors is as old as the Republic itself.

Miss Game The System has no place to talk about corruption!

Look who’s talking.

If you’re going to address corruption, then virtually every democrat in office needs to resign, along with likely a fair chunk of Republicans.

Aren’t all ambassadors to “desirable” embassies like London, Paris, Berlin etc (ie. non-shithole countries) always given to contributors/supporters of the President? One I can think of off of the top of my head is Caroline Kennedy ambassador to Japan during the last administration.

A quick google search reveals: “Matthew Winthrop Barzun (born October 23, 1970) is a former United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom. He is a business executive who is known for his work with CNET Networks and for his volunteer work on Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. He served as U.S. Ambassador to Sweden from 2009 to 2011.

Corruption, started long before Donald Trump became president.

Yep around 1829 when the democrat party was founded.
