My exact thought. Oversampling and other tricks make this seem closer than it really is.
Conservatives search out a place to register. They vote! Democrats set up booths and will register anything on two legs. This person may never vote in their life, but it supports the numbers game.
As you mention, games are played with the people they chose to poll.

Wasn’t the latest Fox News poll result just the opposite, favoring impeachment and removal of the President by 51%? Odd.
