Thought it may be a good idea to have a place to follow all the fast moving events in one place
updates coming in fast
Correct, but, “staying alive” and “staying infectious” are two different things. The latter usually “goes” well before the former.
Of note, cold temperatures extend both the above. The figures stated are @ room temp.

Perhaps you should repost it here?
Western countries separate the animal pen (feces and earth and all other body fluids), from slaughter. And further separates slaughter from market consumers.
And the people involved in each process rarely have contact. And there are fairly strict regimes and record keeping along the way, along with spot inspections for verification.
In China its all mixed together in the same place and there are no inspection, and fewer rules.
China is the perfect soup for zoonotic viral evolution and refinement.
None better could be designed by the best scientists.
Note how quickly the virus RNA was sequenced and made public.
And the Islamic medical staff might not want to use sanitizers

Some Muslims have refused to use alcohol-based hand gels to combat the spread of swine flu because they claim it is against their religion
Hopefully I’ll have time to read this whole thing tomorrow. But in the mean time I have a question: Does anyone know the duration of this illness?
I know the incubation period is supposed to be around 14 days. But after symptoms start, how long does it take for the patient to either die or recover?
Without that number, it’s hard to calculate an accurate mortality rate. We don’t know how many of the currently infected will survive.
Individuals can have symptoms for up to 10 days (this is following the incubation period), IIRC from the Lancet article. So it isn’t a “drop-dead-the-same-day” thing like the Spanish flu.
But remember the “Lancet” patients were mid-December. The coronavirus could have mutated since then and changed its virulence and other factors relating to the infection.
Heh - that ozone generator that I ordered. I cancelled it. Sounds like it won’t do much to a virus in the house. Plus there are side effects from some chemicals that it will break down.
THEN I read your article - they were doing fancy medical stuff with 03. The article I was reading said it works well in water (and bodily fluids I guess?) - but not so well in air.
Sounds like my large 3M room air HEPA filter is probably better anyway.
No, I think that's evidence of laudable cooperation between the Chinese scientists and the University of Sidney, Sidney, Australia.

Thanks. Hopefully, someone will listen.
I’ll be using both. IQ Air and O3. O3 penetrates areas solvents can not do. Best.

Anybody think it's risky to visit Disneyland at this early point given a two week incubation or infectious timeframe?
I couldn't find the 1.9 either, but I did find a downgrade to 2.5.

The truth is,
the situation within Wuhan is so chaotic
and the Chicoms lie so much
and there seems to be a Chicom crackdown on info coming out
and there are internet know-it-alls as well as panic-mongers
that it's hard to tell.
Think of the approximate concentration, and the uneven dispersal of disinfectant sprayed from a plane in the open air.
This is
a) an admission of failure
b) the government desperately throwing *anything* at it
c) very bad. Bad wrong. Bdong. /Kung Pao : Enter the Fist>
Get ready to shelter in place. Not kidding.
