He has many updates from several sources and this live stream has been going for almost an hour. If he does like last night, he'll be streaming for several more hours.
He's had the best overall coverage I've found on this issue so far.
FOrt Detrick got shut down indefinitely by the CDC because of biosafety issues in August. (dont know if they are reopened)

Yep, Still haven’t quite made heads-or-tails out of this, but things seem to be moving quickly enough to get my attention.

I don’t think anyone’s been able to make heads-or-tails of it yet. The bad thing is it started in Dec. and we didn’t even hear about it until about a week ago.

Hand sanitizers are for BACTERIA, not VIRUSes.
They are pointless for virus.
Makes me laugh thinking about the Ebola stuff for which our private school implored kids to keep using sanitizer at school and forced them to use it in and out of classes,etc.

I am not of the mind to say this is a bio weapon. I would imagine if they were going for terror, you’d do something messy like small pox.
If you were going for volume, I guess anything to overwhelm the system would work.
I think this is some virus that just jumped. Between Africa and China the conditions are so bad, this stuff is bound to happen.

It probably has to do with location on the outbreak and the professions of those infected.

There could be all kinds of things they are working on ..as you said...the story about the membrane on the virus.
And safety protocol was breached.
It is not that far fetched to even think X bioweapons researcher guy accidentally spread it in the market.
Whatever happened, China is acting like it is a bioweapon. Maybe they think someone released it on them. Like North Korea, US, etc.
When I worked at the hospital the CDC annual training reinforced that the best way to prevent flu transmission was washing your hands. The infection control folks were nuts about it. I am pretty sure antiviral handwash in hospitals kill viruses.

This has got to be one of the stupidest things I Have seen this year.
IF it’s an accidental release I’m sticking to my original hypothesis:
Improper building codes for the bioweapons lab. Corruption is rampant. Someone didn’t follow the building diagram to hook this to that (example, waste water was dumped directly into the river/lake/sewer instead of the biohazard handling facility).
Lab subsequently infested with mice/rats/etc. Creatures in the sewer exposed, etc.
Improperly handled research samples thus transferred to the outside animal population.
One of which was killed and butchered ‘messily’ and there we go...
