A controversial Miami cop was suspended with pay after he argued at a Miami City Commission meeting last week that he identifies as a black male, despite his Caucasian complexion.
“We can confirm that Captain J. Ortiz has been relieved of duty with pay,” city spokesperson Michael Vega wrote in an email to the Miami New Times.
Vega would not divulge why he benched the former chief of the local Fraternal Order of Police, but Ortiz’s recent public comments to the commission, coupled with a lengthy history of controversy, leaves little to the imagination.

He is proving the left’s absolute stupidity and insanity with their worship and acceptance of mentally ill persons who claim gender dysphoria. So, if someone denies the identified gender as stated on his or her birth certificate, that is wrong according to Miami authorities.
I hope this guy sues the PD and city under the same bs claims that the gender confused use.
In this order please. Gender fluid, then changed gender, then racial identity. Human resources is so scared of the gay thing that they will give the white dude / gal a free pass on racial association. Rachel Dozell would still be running a national chapter of the NAACP as a white woman if she had declared herself a lesbian FIRST!
