I noticed in that 1st pick the little coppertone child having her bathing suit torn off by the dog.
Haven’t seen that for 50 years.

TV Land ran an audience survey in the 90’s and named it the Funniest Sitcom Episode of All Time.
Wow. What a coincidence. I just saw a note about Hillary choking on a peanut a few days ago.
We had what were called ‘parched’ peanuts as a kid in Mississippi in the 50’s and 60’s.
Raw peanuts were spread on a baking sheet and baked in a very hot oven or over a camp fire.............
To be replaced by some gender neutral peanut of color?
Feh.

At the first of this year AXA Advisors changed to Equitable, a company that had been acquired. AXA is a 160 year-old company with brand recognition for the unique name they designed. Who would be fool enough to change that?
The same kind of people who kill off a 104 year-old brand icon.
I realized the other day after reading some pablum article on state income tax vs none posted here on FR that these articles are written as new information not for us but for the children who write them and the children who consume them. They are not for us older and much more experienced people at all. We matter less and less and less as does our experience. It is a cycle that just repeats. Nobody learns everything at once and when you learn enough to matter you don’t matter anymore.
I have always been partial to boiled peanuts. Much better than roasted.
Probably going to be replaced by some kind of “woke” thing.
Like Epstein, Mr. Peanut did not kill himself.
“He was a shell of a man, but lately his mind was showing some cracks.”
He’d gotten very brittle.
Wow his Wilkes-Barre roots were more
extensive than SloeGinJoe
I had a childhood school friend who
was afraid of Mr. Peanut -apparently he
got spooked at the NY World Fair by
a live costumed Mr. and even the happy
logo gave him the buckwheats
