An Australian television commercial for a popular fast food chain has been taking heat over a premise that has been accused of being blatantly sexist and enforcing “archaic stereotypes.”
In the 15-second spot for KFC, a young woman — apparently on her way to some type of festival — checks herself in the reflection of a car window, adjusting her low-cut dress to showcase her cleavage.

I wouldn’t say it was an archaic stereotype by any means, but I would say it’s inappropriate for TV.

I saw the commercial and if I had to criticize it, I would say that it might be a naughty example to young ladies. But it hardly deserves all the outlandish , whacko cry for censorship.
Its a futile attempt by the nouveau Victorian crowd disguised as Me Toos and Lesbians? Knowing what I do about ordinary Australian women, which is precious little, but enough to opine that these whckos trying to box Aussie Women in this way is completely futile. KFC is actually celebrating them. And every man worth any salt knows it.
I hope KFC sticks to its guns, they will sell a lot of chicken.
