Interesting. I didn’t know.that. I just listen everyday at work on the radio, through my computer. I work while listening, & since it is just him talking, I never bothered to try to also watch. Occasionally, he holds up, but generally it is just audio based.

I (a NC resident) got to watch this Opportunity Now Summit speech - saw it on local news station for awhile then they cut away and switched to Cspan 2. Was surprised to see it being televised by them. Saw the whole speech.

INCREDIBLY funny and good!

Much applause, shouts of four more years, USA - and this was at Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC.

Charlotte is a liberal haven - or at least it used to be.

Just listened to three hours of Rush. He sounded remarkably the same. Confident, energetic, wanting to talk about the country. He talked in great detail about what happened after he arrived up until the time he got the medal. He said there were some things that he couldn’t say and he couldn’t wait until he could.

He did say he wasn’t going to talk about his diagnosis much, that millions of Americans are living with it, and he’s just one more. I kept being amazed that he was the same Rush. I’m not sure why. Somehow my life has changed now and he still sounded the same. He did say that he couldn’t Express well enough how much he appreciated his listeners and all of the well wishes and prayers. That it really meant a lot to him. He must have said that in one way or another at least every half hour.

Only a thousand posts behind.. ugh. Been at more doc appts this past month than I think I have been at for past 30 years or more.

Cotton I think it is you and Ms.B that have had eye issues.. I recall you were both prescribed drops My ophthalmologist recommended Refresh (over counter but pricey). for dry eyes, not necessarily the macular degeneration.

We have had a bit of snow. I cancelled one medical appt today that was about 45-hour drive in good weather and thru a lot of neighborhoods, maybe not plowed.

Will try to catch up.. Have diner about half finished and really ready to sleep. I enjoyed watching State of Union the next day CSPAN.. I listened to Rush today. He sounded very upbeat.

Listened to DJT’s comments at the white house yesterday. Love that guy and so happy he is our POTUS.

I’m told Vindman walked out with his brother, who is an attorney for the NSC. It’s unclear if he was also fired but that was the expectation.
