Someone discussing this topic on one of the cable shows said that we have the greatest ET story imaginible right in front of us in the Bible. He is of course right. But the ET of the Bible is resisted because He describes right and wrong and demands fealty. We don’t get to make it all up as we go...bummer...
Funny that these aliens can cross interstellar space to visit this out of the way planet, yet when they get here they keep crashing and we keep picking up the pieces.

It’s either that, aliens, or both. I’ve seen articles that speculate that a lot of our One thing is true: Aliens capable of interstellar travel can probably destroy our civilization (race) without breaking a sweat. If they decide that’s what they want to do, we probably can’t do a whole lot about it. So why worry?

True. The saving grace is it requires some pretty advanced tech to traverse interstellar space. One hopes that any alien civilization old enough to have developed such tech will also have a level of intellectual maturity to where they have no need to eradicate us. My guess would be they know of our existence and being curious, want to observe us without direct interaction. They would likely be aware that direct interaction at this time in our development would be disruptive, to them as well as us.
Whatdaya expect? Thy’re teenage aliens hot rodding around! Drinking, smoking who knows what! Doing the equivalent of cow tipping on humans. It’s no wonder some of them crash!
What is chilling to me is that in every interview I have heard him do he talks about how the government agencies in charge of the parks and monuments will not help him at all. It is like they know about the issue but don’t want citizens to know.
