This incident occurred on Saturday, 01.18.2020 at 8:57 in the morning. My husband became a target of the pending Red Flag Law in VA. The reason the police came is due to a visit George made to the Capitol in order to become situationally aware of his surroundings on Lobby Day. His observations and the pictures he took made Capitol police concerned. George was not the only person on Capitol grounds that day. He was not the only person taking pictures either. But George’s size and stature coupled with his purposeful actions made him a target for a dry run on Red Flag laws on a citizen of Virginia. Red Flag Laws have not been legalized in VA at this point. The police told us they had a tip about George but what we soon discovered was the tip to the police came from the Capitol police itself. The Capitol police saw my husband a threat and then tagged him as a danger. Ten days later the Capitol police, escorted with a State trooper came to our home. We had been rousted at our home on a quiet Saturday morning. Our home which is over a hundred miles from the Capitol and located at a 2nd amendment Sanctuary County. At this point you should know that one of them was a Capitol police officer and the other was a State Trooper, homicide division. The two officers had their hand on their weapons when my husband stepped out the door to greet them. And the rest you can see on this video. Please share this with anyone who has questions about the Red Flag Laws being proposed. Trump was correct when he said, “They are not after me. They are after you”.

True...

But in fairness, I can understand the absolute frustration in such a visit. Probably would have sent my blood boiling as well. My guess is they knew exactly who he was probably from his previous visit. The cops are looking for ‘shot callers’. That’s why they went to talk to him personally. I also assume there were more than just those two there. The others were unseen - just lurking around the area.

Don’t be surprised if they didn’t talk to his neighbors as well.

jimjohn - OUT.

“Here’s a dumb question: why didn’t the Capitol police just confront him then and there while he was in Richmond?”

They wanted to make a show of intimidation.

NEVER engage law enforcement in conversation, no matter what. Just STFU!

Correct. It should have gone down like this:

Officers : "Can we speak with you about your visit to the capitol? We have received a tip".

Citizens: "Do you have a warrant for my arrest?"

Officers: "No, we just want to talk and clear some things up"

Citizen: "Do you have a search warrant describing the person or items to be seized"?

Officers: "Like I said, we just want to talk about last year".

Citizen: "I'll be more than happy to help you with your inquiry, officers, but you'll need to set an appointment with my attorney. (hands over his attorney's card). Just tell him to call me when you are sitting in his office and I'll come right over. Now, if you please, enjoy your ride back to Coonface Building".

I would have called 911:

HELP!! a couple of guys that look like Gang Bangers are casing my property, Oh SHIT THEY GOT GUNS, HELP!

then RIP the Phone out of the Wall and let them explain to the Real Police with actual jurisdiction what is going on.

I did this once, set the scumbag Cops Career back by 20 years, the DA and the Chief called me personally the next morning after their visit with my lawyer to Apologize. This was in Simi Valley

"but I would have invited them in for coffee..."

To do so, you have consented to a search.

It’s madness. Our worse fears are coming to life.

I do think the gentleman should not have spoken to the police.
Demand a lawyer, and go about life unless you’re arrested.

Also, always, I mean every time you walk out your door, assume you’re on camera. They more than likely caught his vehicle and plate from a camera at the capital.

These guys will say they were just pawns and just following orders they knew were wrong - no different from the NAZIs who made the same defense and were later hanged.

I just wrote POTUS on striking a Chord in the Note of Q to hang the Just Following Orders narrative as no defense before DOJ starts trying the Coup Plotters.

Taken together this 2A and the Coup show the DNC is trying to trap Trump by any means necessary. It is all the same political organization doing more illegal activities under their elected leadership.

Just following Orders wasn’t defense for NAZIs nor should it be for Democrats.

Possibly - but other than a messy basement, they wouldn’t have found anything illegal.

Bingo. They don’t. If they had a problem with him knocking on columns and taking pictures, then they needed to have questioned him at the capitol. But they wanted to run his background hoping he had a record.

He shouldn’t have talked to them for nearly 15 mintues. He shouldn’t have talked to them 15 seconds. He should have just come to the door buck naked and let them see for sure he wasn’t armed.

He’s right about nothing but garbage running the state.

Got any wires, pipes and nails in that basement? Got an old paint can or a pressure cooker? They’ll be tagging those and taking pictures.

I come from strong law enforcement family. My late uncle was a police offer of 35 years, my brother-in-law is an officer of nearly 40 years and my son is at the police academy now, that being said... The VA State Police are an entity of the biggest bunch of goose stepping aholes matched only by National Park Rangers. I have never been pulled over or written by VSP but in road blocks I never met such obnoxious dic-tators in my life. My sister lives in VA and is a nurse and interacts with law enforcement and gets along great with local law enforcement but she can’t stand VSP and can find no one who likes VSP.

We have VSP too - Vermont State Police.

They’re cut from the same cloth - young, obnoxious and aggressive. They don’t like people in my area much, and won’t venture into the hills without backup.
