And as a path forward was finally plotted through the Megxit crisis, Her Majesty also seemed determined to move on from the disruption caused by Andrew with a public show of forgiveness.
Although he cut a solemn figure as he marched into church, Andrew seemed pleased with his first 2020 appearance at the Queen's side and was pictured grinning as he was whisked away from the service.

Isnt Archie ahead of Andrew?
Unless Archie has no royal DNA.
Right now, Andrew is 8th in line.
Reminds me of when Ron Reagan (Junior) and his idiot sister kept leaving puclic messes for Ronald and Nancy to cleanup. Not much you can do about family, I guess.
It’s possible Andrew is seeking help. It’s possible he asked for forgiveness. At least he went to church. My heart would burst with happiness if my grown kids attended.
I didn’t know people shook hands with the Queen except Michelle Obama....
Or he is actually making a mockery of church attendance and any Christian should be appealed.
Or he is actually making a mockery of church attendance and any Christian should be appealed. (appalled*)
Prince Andrew is making a mockery of church attendance and should repent, fess up publicly especially for lying, and cooperate in full with UK and US law enforcement. But apparently many here find him a more palatable face to the monarchy than former combat veteran and beloved son of Diana, Prince Harry.
Ha! Since when do royal celebrities ‘repent’ or apologize publically...yet still do their duty by attending church....that’s actually what a lot of people do - catholic and otherwise. Pelosi comes to mind.
Andrews already been cooperating with the UK and US as they’ve stated. And Harry isn’t exactly a gem in the royal crown ..that’s for certain.
Well we know now why revolutions happen. Good on Harry for 1776-ing himself out of that mess. Why raise your child in such close proximity among members of sex trafficking rings? Not worth it.
You could very well be right. The frustrating thing is we don’t know for a fact what Andrews motives are. We can guess... I take some measure of comfort in scripture, especially about God knowing our hearts, and where He claims vengeance is His and that He will repay. But like I posted, if either of my grown son’s stepped into a church, my heart would dance for joy.
He did serve two tours in Afghanistan, which is two tours more than most of his detractors on this board.
I am sending out a personal prayer that he will. And that when he does, he will be a truly and authentically reborn soul. And in the meantime, that angels keep watch over him and the Holy Spirit be at work in his soul with day and night.
THIS! And Reagan loved all his kids. The Queen loves all her kids, as she should.
It’s funny, in a way, how the “tabloids” in the UK dealt with the Royal Family and how it’s similar to our “Media” dealing with President Trump and his family. Yet, those on the left and maybe some on the right don’t see the similarities.
It’s interesting how the rabid left, on TV sites I read, are all about how the UK Media is racist towards Meghan yet don’t see the bias with the US media regarding President Trump. Hell, even Harry and Meghan don’t see the similarities, lol. And how some on the right, are in line with the UK tabloids regarding the Royal Family.
I remember all the media during Princess Diana’s life and death (and Fergie and how she was treated). I guess it’s what happens to lives of “media stars.”
I’m glad Queen Elizabeth supports her family regardless of what I think of them.
Maybe Christians shouldn’t judge (Leave it to God).
I don’t care what Harry does either. I also don’t care that he’s a “beloved son of Diana.”
Who are you to say he’s making a mockery by attending Church? Have you never sinned yet still attended Church?
My own opinion, everyone should have a good lawyer since we all know that no justice system is 100% fair.
Given his title and public position and the Queens role as head of the church...and given the very public revelations unfolding by the day and allegations against him..and his shameful conduct and lack of forthrightness in the face of them...
Honestly its not that he went to church that irks me, its the deliberate public statement the Queen is making by having him join her in this capacity, at this juncture in time. In public.
Just seems so tone deaf! If anything put out a united front with Charles and William!
I can understand that too, but I like she supports him. I liked when Reagan supported his kids, too. It speaks highly of parents, imo.
well, he had terrible judgment when it comes to friends
