A Visalia [California] couple allegedly lured thieves with an unsecured bike and then beat them with baseball bats, police say.
Corey Curnutt, 25, and Savannah Grillot, 29, were arrested Wednesday and face charges of assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy, TV station KGPE reported. The couple repeated the trap multiple times from July to November last year and posted the videos of the beatings on YouTube and Facebook, police say.
Neighbor Kerris LeBeau told KGPE that initially there was support on Dove Avenue for the couple, but then they started to bait them and do it for other reasons.
There would be blood in the street or on the sidewalks the next day, she said. Nature abhors a vacuum, and seeing as how law and order is rapidly abandoning blue shithole states, it's only natural that people take steps. Sometimes proactive steps. They didn't force anyone to come onto their property, and there is no law that says you have to secure your stuff on your property.
Hopefully, this couple gets a jury of people who have experienced similar crimes and are fed up with criminals being given walks. Labels: out-of-state, sarcasm AND silliness
That was my thought.
Pepper spray the sh-t out of them.
No, it is not morally wrong.
use spray adhesive on handle bar grips and seat then video while following...
“They are doing this in California? Where the state puts criminals above the law abiding?”

Yes. That was their first mistake.
Second was putting it on Social Media.
Should have just quietly done it and enjoy protecting their property.
Kind of like the Three Ss Rule. Without the shooting, of course.....
Glad I finished the days’ snow blowing!
Cause I just watched about 20 bait videos!!!
That was fun!
Check out the link by Don W in #13
I watched about 20 of them!
Trip lines, shocking seats, shock cell phones...
What do you do with them after you catch them?
Better not to have them glued to the seat.
Cops are allowed to set traps to attract and capture criminals.
The most well known (and well documented) example is the Bait Car sting.
I believe its called entrapment.....Horse shit. Entrapment would be other members of the squad standing outside telling someone “ Bro, it’s OK to rob this store. Owner Don’ mind, cops just laugh at him any ways. Go ahead.”
Criminals have more rights...
I would say entrap criminals, just don’t brag about it...
“Oh, I accidentally left my bike in the yard and some people went to steal it.... We saw them and confronted them and they started hitting us we had to defend ourselves...”
like that...
Thin but strong cable attached to somewhere solid about 50-75 ft long.... let them get a good head start before they go flying over the handlebars...
[ I believe its called entrapment.....Horse shit. Entrapment would be other members of the squad standing outside telling someone Bro, its OK to rob this store. Owner Don mind, cops just laugh at him any ways. Go ahead. ]
Only law enforcement can entrap....
Think about that for a second and let that sink in...
Yeah, just finished some work and ate that up! Mental wheels are spinning...
[ Is it morally wrong to lure and trap a thief? ]
It should never be... especially since we now have video cameras on the cheap. If well documented, this sort of citizen justice should be encouraged in order to provide a chilling effect on thieves and other criminals...
But criminals are a protected class.
no need to catch them if you have it on video just enjoy the show... and it’ll make them think twice about what and where to touch anything afterwards... as far as the seat they just ruined whatever they’re wearing unless they’re nekid... then they’ll be in a new world of hurt...
Good one!
“Other ideas...? ;)”
The internet had one I liked. A cable was attached to the bike and to the post the bike was leaning against. the thief would jump on and haul butt for a few yards and then go flying. A remote controlled electro shock for a fake cell phone “accidently” left behind was also entertaining.
“You steal my phone and put it in your pants pocket?”
thief: “why, no”
bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzt
Imho .... in the world of so-called justice the perps got off light, the beating should have
been severe enough and by more neighbors plus the run for life with full chase being given. The perp not outrunning the crowd would only mean two perps met justice .... imho
Many videos in the link@ post13 by Don W.
Doing just that and on a kick scooter too!
I Said Other Members Of The Squad, not the paperboy.
