SIG SAUER, Inc. is pleased to announce the United States Special Operation Command (USSOCOM), working closely with SIG SAUER, has completed a safety certification of the new SIG SAUER MG 338 Machine Gun, SIG SAUER 338 Norma Mag Ammunition, and Next Generation Suppressors. Following this historic official safety certification, SIG SAUER has completed deliveries of multiple systems, comprised of the MG 338 Machine Guns, 338 Norma Mag Ammunition, and Next Generation Suppressors all researched, designed, engineered, and manufactured by SIG SAUER in the U.S.A. The SIG MG 338 bridges the gap between the current machine guns currently in use with the U.S. Military. In comparison to the current M240 (7.62x51cal) machine gun, which has been in service with the U.S. Military for 60 years, the SIG MG 338, is noticeably lighter, weighing only 20 pounds, and provides significantly more range and lethality. Dillon has a prototype of the M134 Mini gun is this caliber also ..... 338 Norma Mag.
Gonna leave a dent in islam ....
It’s gonna be a real game changer for small unit tactics. I would love to see how they train the gun crews. This is definitely not grandpa’s old “60”.

That’ll be a hell of a rainmaker.
I want one.
Do they make it in single shot with a box magazine?
I dont know. Semi auto mag fed would be nice, but Im sure the price would be about the same as a good used car.
What the hell kind of machine is that? Looks like some Call of Duty kid’s wet dream.
Looks like they’ve got a red dot or reflex sight on the one at the link.
I really, really, really want one. Really...
Right, 7.62mm = .308 cal. Thanks. I saw the .308 but didn’t realize the conversion. My old WW2 history mind just thought of .30 cal.
