There appear to be two significant developments as it relates to Tom Brady's future, which were revealed on Tuesday's The Greg Hill Show by Greg Hill himself.
The Brady suite at Gillette Stadium where (Gisele Bundchen) has been known to watch her husband play football has been cleaned out," he said.
Hill added: It would appear to be, by those who are in the know, that it has been cleaned out in way that perhaps it has never has been cleaned out before.
In addition, Hill said Brady and his family have already moved out of their Brookline, Massachusetts home and moved into their recently purchased home in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Of course, Brady will be a free agent on March 18 for the first time in his NFL career.
Appearing on Westwood One Radio with Jim Gray over the weekend, Brady said he will not be rushing to make any determination on his future.
The contract things I think a week after the season, I would say these things havent even started to pick up," Brady said. "That is not my concern at this point. It has been about decompressing and lessen my mind a little bit and resting my body and spending time with the people who have supported me over the last six months.
He added: Like I said, I've loved playing football and I have loved playing for this organization, so I really dont know what it is going to look like moving forward and I am just taking things day-by-day. Were a week removed from the end of our season. Theres a lot of time to figure these things out. I dont think any player or team is ready to make any commitments at this point and I am sure as the offseason progresses those things will take care of themselves.
Brady can re-sign with the Patriots at any point, but cannot speak to other teams until the legal tampering window opens on March 16.
That rules out the Atlanta Falcant’s
If the part you are missing is a QB, then he is worth every penny. He needs a very good O line. He wont step on the field without a good offensive line.
I think Brady wants to eventually become a GM, like Elway did.
The guy who played for the team up north, gave up millions upon millions of dollars to stay with the Pats. He will get the money that is owed to him for his loyalty.
He needs to move to a non-state tax state and save even more.
I think Brady will go to the Chargers. They have a brand spanking new stadium in LA to fill, and the Chargers have had a nightmare trying to fill their temporary home which is only 20,000 seats or so. Philip Rivers is a free agent and had a poor season, so I could see the Chargers signing Brady as a temporary QB for PR reasons. Plus, Brady’s wife Gisele would probably favor living in LA during the season, too.
Actually, the Patriots changed the offense for Cassell, and he had a series of good games across the middle of the season, including two consecutive 400 yard games, and a trouncing of the NFC Superbowl representative near the end of the season.
Cassell had an MCL injury (IIRC) during preseason the first year with the Chiefs, and then was a pro-Bowler the following year. After that the Chiefs line was garbage, the offense a mess, and he was lousy.
The Rams would sell a ton of tickets to help pay down the debt on the new stadium by getting rid of Jared Goof and getting Brady. Thats what they did with the slow and worn out Clay Matthews. (USC Alum)
Daks numbers thru his first 50 games starting are much better that Bradys thru his first 50 games. I like Dak and imagine if he had the kind of coaching and teammates thats a hallmark of Patriots the past 20 years, hed be a good choice
As a lifelong Charger fan I would say I’d rather have Brady than Rivers as Rivers even with all his experience makes bonehead plays and never learns. Chargers never address their O line troubles which even with Brady they would struggle as they always do.
And no income tax in Florida...unlike Connecticut...
I have said since about week 12 that Brady will retire. I continue to think that.
i don’t know much about the Rams.
I’m assuming they need a QB :)
There’s actually less teams than usual that need a QB, it seems.
A number of rookie QBs have done well enough to be the starters and that’s filled quite a few slots.
suite at the stadium, sweet!
He certainly won’t wind up on the Redskins.
Brady has always taken less pay to help build the team and championships. I respect him for that. Most players take everything they can get.
his wife makes as much as he does
Indeed. And probably more. He makes plenty on advertising gigs too.
I think Kobe and Lebron (Chinese star) also took cuts to get some support.
I remember a backup winning a playoff game no one expected then to win. Yet the NFL shadow banned him. Not sue why. Something about Denver beating stealers. Foggy. I think the QB got banned via a backdoor clause.
I see sports as entertainment nothing more. I still say roll tide and go SEC. its still entertainment nothing more.
Just a final word on Fitzpatrick. Hes made $63 million so far in his career, and is contracted for potentially another $8 million next season with the Dolphins.

Youre right, hes having a good time, and I expect unlike a lot of NFL Players, he wont be bankrupt 3 years after leaving football.
