There appear to be two significant developments as it relates to Tom Brady's future, which were revealed on Tuesday's The Greg Hill Show by Greg Hill himself.
The Brady suite at Gillette Stadium where (Gisele Bundchen) has been known to watch her husband play football has been cleaned out," he said.
Hill added: It would appear to be, by those who are in the know, that it has been cleaned out in way that perhaps it has never has been cleaned out before.
In addition, Hill said Brady and his family have already moved out of their Brookline, Massachusetts home and moved into their recently purchased home in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Of course, Brady will be a free agent on March 18 for the first time in his NFL career.
Appearing on Westwood One Radio with Jim Gray over the weekend, Brady said he will not be rushing to make any determination on his future.
The contract things I think a week after the season, I would say these things havent even started to pick up," Brady said. "That is not my concern at this point. It has been about decompressing and lessen my mind a little bit and resting my body and spending time with the people who have supported me over the last six months.
He added: Like I said, I've loved playing football and I have loved playing for this organization, so I really dont know what it is going to look like moving forward and I am just taking things day-by-day. Were a week removed from the end of our season. Theres a lot of time to figure these things out. I dont think any player or team is ready to make any commitments at this point and I am sure as the offseason progresses those things will take care of themselves.
Brady can re-sign with the Patriots at any point, but cannot speak to other teams until the legal tampering window opens on March 16.
Vinny Testaverde?
Ryan Fitzpatrick.
An average athlete and QB who is really smart about football and surviving.
Dallas (Jerry World) has NOT resigned Dak Prescott yet..........................
The big questions are: 1. Brady is now a free agent. Will the Pats want him for another year or two? 2. How close is Bellichick to retiring? 3. Brady is close to his O.C., Josh McDaniels. Where will Josh be next year? 4. Brady's whole career was with the Pats. Would he really go to another team just to extend his career a year or two at most? 5. Brady seemed this year on the edge of age finally catching up with him. Time to hang up the cleats?
Or even Brett Favre.
But all those QBs were under 40 when they moved on.
And what teams have a need for an older QB right now, when the trend is to go with young running QBs?
I thought the same about Payton Manning but he had a good few years as a Bronco.
Something else to consider....
With what happened to the Astros, there’s now going to be pressure on the NFL to do something to the Patriots.
I wonder hoe many more rings Joe Montana could have had if he had been treated like an 8-year old girl by the refs as Tom has. Joe, Marino, Staubach, Bradshaw et al took absolutely brutal hits — most without a flag.
So who could blame him? He really deserves better than to live among a bunch of Massholes.
Josh McDaniels is staying, unless the Browns make a new offer...................
True, but as happens with older QBs, when they decline, they decline quickly.
Well yeah him too but i was thinking of Ryan Fitzpatrick.
But the description I gave fits both :)
Good. Moments of greatness. But never great.
What was he missing that kept him from being at the next level?
I think he had trouble with the deep ball.
He’s the only QB I can think of besides Chad Pennington who played for the Jets.
J. T. O’Sullivan?
O’Sullivan was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the sixth round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He also spent time with 10 other NFL teams: the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals, San Diego Chargers, and Oakland Raiders.
Lucky you.
I know them all and it’s caused me 40 years of suffering.
10 teams!!
Wow.
That’s like a third of the league.
He’s the prostitute of the NFL :)
Actually 11 teams.
Sounds lovely...except the Bengals get the #1 pick.
