Take their money Tony..best of luck.
I had the first chance to hear Romo at length over the weekend.
Verdict: He sucks.
I don’t think Romo is that good and that is throwing money at the problem.
I hope Romo has the stones to turn down the Extreme Socialist Programming Network.
I don't understand these enormous and outrageous salaries these done nothing TV personalities receive.
Example, George Stephanopolous's salary is approx. $17 million a year.........
$17 million !
He makes more in one month than I ever made in my entire lifetime......and I could proudly state that I was more productive in my jobs to my employer than he ever was.
Monday Night Football really needs to be fixed. How can you take a guy seriously whose nickname is "booger"?
Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports reported...
Obviously that's Mike McCarthy in thin disguise, trying to entice Romo back to the Cowboys. /jk
The problem isn’t Monday Night Football, it’s the NFL, it’s sucks.
Romo is pretty darn good I must say. My Dish package however doesnt include ESPN and Im not paying extra for it. Ciest la vie.
I wouldn't work for Disney's network branch for 10x10 that money. Phony woke-ass bullshit with 4 or 5 different people acting like they are 'in charge'.
Also pretty sure Nantz makes $7M, but he pulls NCAAM and golf duty - so essential to the Masters' experience - so it would be a nothingburger for CBS to give him $10M and give Tony $10M.
Romo was aweful during the Patriots game.
It was miserable to listen to him blather on about how this could be Bray’s last game, end of a dynasty, and on, and on.
Romo the homo sucks as an announcer or “color” commentator.
I simply do not understand the love affair which the MSM sports media has with Romo. He was, in effect, a journeyman quarterback who threw interceptions at key times in key games. Now his sound effects make me crazy. He offers little in the way of actual “analysis.”
All I know is....
Collinsworth SUX!!!
14 mil for 16 weeks worth of work? And he doesn’t get drilled by a blitzing linebacker? Take the money & run, Tony.
ESPN has the ultimate team right in house. They are they team working tonight’s national college football championship game. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstriet.
ESPN and Disney are going broke. I don’t think they have the money to make this work.
