RUSH: A lot of people are asking me — ’cause people ask me what I think of everything — “So, Rush, what’s the real reason for this Megxit, this Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leaving the royal family?” Come on! Every husband… Uh, four out of every five husbands can tell you what this is all about. This one’s not hard to figure out in any way, shape, manner, or form.
But there’s no advantage to me in explaining it to you. So I shall leave you to your own imaginations and conclusions. I did explain it in great detail to Snerdley, and I had him rolling on the floor in laughter as I’m… (interruption) I can’t. There’s no way I can. (interruption) I can’t! I can’t. I cannot explain it. There’s no way. I wouldn’t survive if I did. I wouldn’t…

RUSH: Now look. When I say I am stunned by how much time the Drive-Bys are giving this story of Prince Harry and Meghan what’s-her-face leaving the royal family, I know why people are fascinated. It still stuns me the amount of hard news coverage it gets.

RUSH. Are people really as fascinated with the royal family today as they were? When Princess Di was alive and running around, that was probably the peak. But do people really care as much about it now? Well, I actually think in the U.K. they’re getting close — I mean, it’s not imminent, big word — but I think the talk is bubbling up of getting rid of the whole thing. You know once it stops serving its purpose as a tourist attraction, do you have any idea how much money that they’re literally giving that bunch every year?
It isn’t long, the Millennials or maybe the generation coming up behind, some of them are gonna start saying, “What the hell are we doing here? Do you realize how many health care policies we could buy with the houses alone we’re paying for for these people?” And what do they do but provide escapism in the form of media coverage?
In fact, even The Oprah got ensnared in this. The Oprah was reported to have been one of the instigators in convincing Harry and Meghan to split the royal family. And so The Oprah had to go out and write a newspaper article, give an interview and say, “It wasn’t me. I had nothing to do –” This is no mystery what’s going on here. Anybody that’s ever been married knows exactly what happened here. This is not hard to figure out.
What does that mean? Kill himself?
Rule #1: If Mama is happy, everybody is happy.
and #2: If Mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy.
If rule #2 is true, refer to rule #1. Then do what you gotta do.
Simple as that. Not that I’m saying it’s easy to do, but you gotta try!
Clearly shw wants her cake and cake consumption too. In fact, she’ll go for the whole bakery while she’s at it. They are looking to cash in on their Royal titles on an evwn bigger scale than just by being Royal. Yet run out on their Royal duties. Oh, but they’ll keep that big house and free security protection while they’re at it. And hey, they figure, let’s set up a global charity scam, just like Bill and Hill and Chels, while we’re at it!
He has dual citizenship. He's American, because his mother is American. He's British because his father is British.
He is seventh in the line of succession to the British throne.
He is just as American as Obama. So (leaving aside for the sake of brevity the whole birther controversy) - in 40 years he runs for and becomes President. Shortly after which, in a freak accident 4 or 5 remaining royals die, and he becomes King of England.

You must not be married. When you get married you realize the world is run for the benefit of women. Men make the money, women spend it. Check out any shopping mall and the makeup of stores. Check out a department store and the ratio of women’s goods to men’s (probably around 80/20). Women always demand to be given special treatment by men, but when it happens then demean men as sexist.

Apparently, wherever they land will be required to pay for protection since they are Internationally Protected People. So let it be the Canadian tax payer. UK tax payer will also have to pony up money.

At least Harry doesn’t have any previous children that will get shunted to the side like John Lennon.
Meghan ran back to Canada after their announcement and left Harry to face the Queen alone. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall during his discussion with the Queen and other “disappointed” royals.
Royal life is terribly stifling. I’ve read that the Queen, whom I like and admire, has enormous powers over what the royals can do and wear, right down to shades of nail polish. Kid you not. I think it shows a spark of integrity to give up the money and attention for normalcy. The monarchy is outdated and ‘way overpaid. Plus, all their money and properties come from oppression of Scots, Irish and countless others, from centuries back.

But Britain does not have “Subjects” any longer, it has “Citizens.”
I remember being corrected when I was young for not knowing the difference between citizens and subjects.
America had citizens, Britain had subjects. But that difference has been erased, on paper at least.
