There is something that still troubles me about the whole shoot down. They had just taken off from Khomeini Airport. They were only at 8000 feet. They should have been able to be listening to the control tower comm traffic. The last thing you want to do is shoot down a plane that just took off from you’re own airport. That’s why an accidental shoot down, which makes superficial sense, seems like too big a camel for me to swallow.
:: And who has appeared to be in charge for YEARS?...Only one name should come to mind for most at this point ::
George
Herbert
Walker
Bush
h/t - Skolnick

womp womp how dare he
😀 Well, maybe not at my age. Clinton time seems almost eternal!
Well, it seems we have some lovers of old time radio around here! I’m glad I could share the links to the downloadable stuff.
3B - I think I have over 90Gb of shows now and always adding.
(Kit loves him some Hoppy!)
Other questions are:
Why were 2 other flights released earlier that evening that followed to same ascend3ncy-out path as the UKR flight?
Did the “target-acquisition” radar alarm indicate in the UKR flight? (It should have, giving the crew time to radio the ground).
In all of this, keep in mind that the IRGC controls and administers the Tehran airport. It is a military installation serving civilian needs.
years with unlimited power, NO oversight and a complicit Media.
Still alive.
I think there's also a good chance that there was someone on that plane that the mullas didn't want to leave Iran.
That border ceremony is an orthopedic nightmare.
Have you brought this up beyond the trees?

No. Why?
Yes, and POTUS is not of a mind who is going to tolerate needless massive displacement of whole skill sectors, IF, there is a fix to stop such a thing, or limit the impact, or to Regulate in a way favorable to America First.
The H1 argument is about Competency, for one thing. Cheap labor is another. It sounds Fixable, but this subject is something of which I know not much.
I would see Trump disallowing these corporations to benefit from hiring out of country in the same way he dealt with auto manufacturers, but based on competencies of course, of American students who must be made able to compete.
Keeping in mind that this skill sector is not a favored class over any other work force, which are subject to suffering traumatic lay off and displacement, but POTUS habit is to repair, fairly, as for example he did to the extent he possibly could for the Coal Industry
Is this the picture in part, or wholly?
This problem also forces a look into the Education and training in the USA.
Why are American students less skilled than foreign workers?
Why are you accepting the propaganda at face value, this time? You normally don't.
Thanks for the update & encouragement!
I did read on FR, either here or beyond the trees, that there was a nuclear scientist type guy on the plane.
This shootdown was likely something like that. Accident, shmaccident.
The raggedys don't like their nuclear guys taking leg bail on 'em.

“Why are American students less skilled than foreign workers?”
To those running our education system, this is a feature, not bug, that’s why.
It's not one issue. The deliberate influx of foreigners into our nation is changing American culture and ideals. Many have no desire to assimilate, but want to strip our nation's heritage and replace it with their own failed systems and beliefs.

There’s some hints and indicators that in the tech companies that most heavily abuse the H1-B visa system, they’re already devolving into a caste system in their employee management.
Iran and Israel are traditionally friendly.
So the tower should have had direct contact with the IRGC air defense command if not with the battery itself.
