A wooden statue mocking U.S. President Donald Trump was burned to the ground Thursday in Slovenia, the birthplace of his wife Melania, authorities said.
The nearly eight-meter (26-foot) high construction, erected last year in a village in northeast of Slovenia, showed Trump with his trademark hair style, blue suit, white shirt and a long red tie. His right arm — fist clenched — was raised high like that of New York’s Statue of Liberty.
Slovenian police are looking for the arsonist.
When triggered, a mechanism inside the statue opened a red-painted mouth and shark-like teeth used to appear.

Looks like Schiffty Bugs Inc. is going to have to conduct another one of his “investigation” specials. Time to start rounding up “witnesses” and “whistleblowers” in Slovenia.

I don’t think the leftists expected the right to really start fighting back. The left took civility out of politics, and the more it happened the more fed up some on the conservative side got. The tipping point was the Tea Party. Once that happened a bunch of normally quiet non-political people decided that going along with the crazy leftist agenda wasn’t going to happen. A bunch of blue collar people decided to stand up and start pushing back, HARD.

Some sloven Slovenian ‘artist’ is having a tantrum.

Why?
Milan Balazic, the mayor of Moravce where the statue ended up, said that unknown arsonists burned it.
He said the torching of the statue “is symbol of intolerance toward artistic projects in our society.”
OR maybe sane people don’t like”art” that looks like it was created by a 5 year old.

To give him a reward I hope.
“Like all populists, the statue has two faces,” its creator, Tomaz Schlegl, said when he unveiled the statue last August. “One is humane and nice, the other is that of a vampire.”

No one cares.
That barely even qualifies as a statue. It’s more a boarded up phone booth, painted with flat latex shapes. Very amateur.
I was hoping something else had been torched.

Statue? Ha. It’s just some painted plywood. Lol.
Would probably get the artist an “A” at Yale, though. I went to an exhibition of Senior Art projects at the UofU a few years back. A bunch of terrible daubings and incomprehensible structures. Art has become a joke.
And BTW, it's well past time to drag that campus statue of Lenin.down to the scrap dealer.
Why? To give him the Key to the City silly.
