Meghan Markle is one of the least popular members of the royal family, according to the Public First poll for Metro. The only other royal polling as more unpopular than Meghan is Prince Andrew. Though this poll seems to show that the British people feel unfavorably about the Duchess of Sussex, she's actually quite popular with young people in the United Kingdom.
According to the poll, the public's opinion on Meghan was actually quite divided. The Duchess was found to be popular among the young, as well as those who identified as leaning politically left, according to Express. Meghan's approval rating was at 66 percent among 18 to 24-year-olds, while Kate Middleton's approval rating in that demographic was 67 percent.
Though Meghan is popular with younger Brits, her approval rating plummets when it comes citizens aged 55 to 64. With the older demographic, the Duchess's approval rating is at a low 28 percent. When asked if they felt any sympathy for the Duchess after her ITV interview last month where she detailed the struggles of royal life, just 26 percent of the older demographic said they felt any empathy towards Meghan. However, 71 percent of the younger demographic said they did feel sympathy for Meghan's struggles.
While Meghan admitted the constant negativity from the tabloid press has effected her, she also opened up about her desire to be heard rather than unanimously loved. "We all have a story to tell," Meghan said during her visit to Luminary Bakery. “One of the things I have realized since being here [in the UK] is that people have an expectation when I’m coming somewhere, so I’m like, 'Let’s just be really relaxed, keep everyone nice and chilled, because at the end of the day we’re all just women."

That may be true - the Boomers were drugged out hippies, GenXers were a flannel-wearing depressed lot. But they got older and wiser and more conservative. Millenials will do the same over time as well...
...at least in America, where our culture is generally intact. The onslaught against British culture is generally weakening that stiff upper lip. The wisdom that accompanies aging may not take hold in the U.K.

Do you suppose she is not wearing the ring because they are divorcing and she would not be allowed to keep “royal property” jewels...two of the diamonds belonged to the crown as they were in Diana’s ring.
Possibly they are getting a divorce and two of the diamonds in her ring belong to the crown (historic jewels). The two diamonds on either side of the large diamond were given to Diana from Chas.
...but these polling results suggest that she has successfully killed his public image, especially with older Brits. This may, however, be by design, as a culturally-eviscerated England may be more sympathetic to Meghan and Harry in 20 years. Time will tell.

The news will eventually leak that Harry isn’t a ‘true’ royal... Suspicion has always surrounded his origin, Dianna was surely his mother but his father’s DNA is likely that of one of her bodyguards.
And that’s likely the reason why he was, and still is able to get away with more stuff than other royals.
I wonder if Meghan just doesn’t like her ring. She recently had the wide yellow gold band altered to a thinner band. It sounds crazy, considering the diamonds are gorgeous, but there are many women who prefer dainty stones over huge ones. Whether she likes it or not or if she were to divorce, the ring, by tradition, is hers to keep, just like Diana’s sapphire engagement ring was her personal property when she died. They don’t belong to the Crown.

As my father told me: “Son, the most important choice you make in life is who you marry.” I believe Harry selected badly and they will divorce in time. He should have selected another royal or another Brit (like his father did). He needed a wife who would help him fill his role not cause problems. The problems with Markle and the Queen isn’t good and will doom the relationship. Elizabeth II isn’t long for this world—Her death will force many changes is the role of the Royals. They will be forced out or change to a more Swedish mode.
Markle abandoned her own family. Now she has forced Harry to abandon his.
Good riddance to her. Leave our Royal Family alone.
Too bad the British royal idiots didn’t shut down horse face Camilla instead of Diana.
