Assuming the facts are as she says, she should be released.

That, however, assumes that the facts ARE as she says, and that she didn’t attack the guy for some other reason, and then claim that the reason was because he was licking her daughter, which is always a possibility.

The police were called and the two were at the guy's house where he was bleeding.

At first the woman said she only used her fists. Then she came up with the assertion that he had tried to kiss her daughter.

The police listened two the two of them and decided to arrest her.

Now I'm wondering if maybe she beat him with her crack pipe because he didn't pay her.

I don't think we are getting much accurate information out of the press because it looks like they only talked to the woman and sort of skipped talking to the woman's neighbors, the dude's neighbors, and if they talked to the cops at all they neglecting to ask them much.
