Will Tom Brady Return To Patriots In 2020? Las Vegas Oddsmakers Weigh In Read more at: https://nesn.com/2020/01/will-tom-brady-return-to-patriots-in-2020-las-vegas-oddsmakers-weigh-in/

Westgate sportsbook vice president of risk Ed Salmons, for instance, believes the odds Brady will play with the Patriots next season currently sit around minus-500, or he’ll retire.

“He’s not going to the Chargers. That whole talk is nonsense,” Salmons said, via the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Todd Dewey. “If he’s going to play, it’s going to be with the Patriots.”

And Salmons isn’t the only one that feels that way, either.

“There’s no chance (Brady plays for another team). I’d make him a big favorite to come back to the Patriots,” said Sunset Station sportsbook director Chuck Esposito. “I know other players like (Joe) Montana, (Peyton) Manning and (Brett) Favre all finished with other teams. But the relationship between (Patriots owner Bob) Kraft and Brady is different.”

In fact, Esposito seems to believe Brady’s got more than just a year left in the tank.

“I think they’ll give him a two- or three-year deal,” he said. “Their defense is still really good. They just need to improve their skill position players.”

Will New England make a run for Dak Prescott? I know Bellichick seems to like him.

He should have retired last year.

OTOH, he is mighty POd about NE’s performance the other night.

A POd Tom Brady is bad news for the rest of league. He has proven time and time again when he sets his hat down that it is T R O U B L E — and that rhymes with B and that stands for B R A D Y.

His last play was a pick six. That’s not how Brady will ever want to finish out his career. He’ll be back - with the Pats.

A PO'd 30 year old Tom Brady, sure. But he's 42. And he already appeared to spend most of this season PO'd.

Drew Brees in March will become a free agent this March. Hopefully he’ll return to the Saints. I’ve always wanted a Brees/Brady Superbowl.

Don't own a TV, don't watch NFL football, and not sorry to say I do not care. He has his life, his wife, his children and the five rings, God bless him. But why do need to be obsequious patsies, worshipping at the alter of whatever the media wants us to think?

How anxious is Belichick to prove that he can win without Brady?

This upcoming off-season may prove to be more interesting than the season itself.

Don’t count him out just yet. His O-line let him down a lot more than his arm.

Ha. Dunno if Brady would care to be equated with the guy they considered cycling’s GOAT, before he lost a rancid nut to cancer and got busted juicing. Puts a little tarnish on the brass plaques.

I’m betting 98% that he will be back with the Pats:

#1: A 12-4 season is GREAT in anyone’s book, and would make any other QB happy.

#2: Brady will refused to end his career on such an off note as the humiliating defeat the Pats took from the Titans.

#3: The only way to restore his image and reputation is to come back with the Pats for an even better season next year.

#4: Kraft & Bellichick would be taking a huge risk to go for any QB who can beat a 12-4 year, and will both want Brady back.

#5: The loss was not Brady’s fault. He’s got one good receaiver - Edelman - who let him down.

#6: The best bet for Brady, Bellichick and Kraft is to hit the Pats weaknesses shown this year and attack them with a vengeance next year and stay together.

I am NOT a Pats fan, and root for whoever they are playing. But I can see no sense in all three of these men NOT staying together for a correction - together.

It only makes sense.

What I hear is that they like how Jason Stidtham has looked in practice, and think he deserves a shot at becoming starter, and they won’t want to make the same mistake they made with Garappolo.

Shady Brady is still better than a few QBs.
