Years ago, 10-25 years ago, it seems whenever I was in a taxi cab, he was on the radio. Haven been in a cab in years so don’t know if things have changed. He has though, from the bits I’ve seen of him being interviewed on TV lately.

I've seen a couple of short clips from interviews that Stern has granted. He's clearly a very intelligent guy...very,*very* articulate. Seems to me he could have made a good living doing something other than the cr@p he's done for 30 years.

I have Sirius radio in my car and I laughed at Stern when I was in college in the NYC metro area in the late 80s and early 90s so I dialed him in a few times.

Oh man, is he dull now. A typical hour will be him having an intern come in and say something like "I put a sandiwch in the fridge and it's gone. I know Tony took it." Then Tony says "why are you accusing me, your sandwiches are &*#@!" Then Howard will go through an inquisition of if the sandwiches really are &*@! (oh snap! They are terrible!) and if the other guy steals food out of the fridge (Double oh snap! He does but only good stuff!) so they bicker and Howard eggs them on. Then wash, rinse, repeat. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Stern was summarily fired from BBC for “beastiality dial a date” which involved a man who had had sex with a MALE German Sheppard. Some “jape”...

Stern, who had once disparaged the awkward, embarrassing dance moves with which Ellen DeGeneres opened each episode of her daytime talk show, now claimed to find them enjoyable. While publicly making up with people like Rosie O’Donnell and Kathie Lee Gifford... Stern banned from his program veteran guests like the lewd, riotous comedian Gilbert Gottfried. Howard even refused to run ads on his show for one of Lange’s books... Increasingly, he focused on interviewing aging rock stars. He is, admittedly, a terrific interviewer; but many longtime fans, me included, weren’t all that interested in hearing, day after day, the detailed life stories of warhorses like James Taylor, Roger Daltrey, and David Crosby. Then came the 2016 election. Stern had bonded with Trump for years, but had always considered himself a “Clinton guy,” though both Clintons had turned down multiple interview requests, and Bill had even snubbed him once at a party. Most of his FCC fines were levied during Clinton’s presidency. But in 2016, Stern supported Hillary.

I liked him in the Heavy Metal movie. /jk

Howard took the worst, most vapid parts of a reality TV show and made them the core of his program. He just has his staff come in and argue with each other over trival stuff. Who stole my sandwich! Billy farts in meetings! Jack picked his nose and flicked a booger at the wall and it's still there! OMG!

I don't care about Stern's staff or their made up drama. The interviews are okay but honestly, in a year with Sirius I've put Stern on maybe a dozen times and never heard one. but then again, I don't leave that snoozefest on long.

Back in the day though, wow! His bits on Marge Schott made me hurt from laughing. Of course, those bits can't even be played now because they include words which are verbotten by the PC overlords. mister "I'm going to Sirius so I won't be censored by the FCC" has totally bowed to the PC altar. Lots of F-words, nothing actually edgy and unexpected.

Howard Stern. He talks like a 7th grade valley girl......with every other word being “like.” Nauseating human being who got rich appealing the most base morally corrupt of humanity. About as far in values, skill, morality, and Godly as one can be from say my Korean War Father who could fix anything, to Billy Graham. I bet Stern couldn’t change a flat tire...he’d be telling us about it though....”like I got a flat tire and like I didn’t know what to do and so like I called triple A and like ....”

No wonder empty headed shallow minded celebrities like Jennifer Aniston find him appealing and fun to be with. They probably couldn’t tell you what the 3 and the 16 mean in John 3:16

I asked for the family friendly Sirius-XM package. The sales person said, “...but, but, you will not be able to hear Howard Stern!!!!”

I said, “Good”! I have been very happy with my Sirius-XM package since then. The Patriot channel, Radio Classics, and college sports have been my favorites.

You missed absolutely nothing. The little I listened to him he bored me to death. Never understood what all the fuss was about.

I never listened either but I did hear his show on the first anniversary of 9/11. He was, frankly, amazing. His anger was unbelievable and certainly not pc.

Many years ago my husband, daughter and I were in NYC for a weekend. My daughter wanted to head over to Rockefeller Center and on our way back we found 5th Ave. absolutely packed with people and business people were hanging out of their office windows. I had never seen anything like it and had no idea that it was Howard doing a book signing. He emerged from a limo dressed in a long flowing gown wearing a tiara. The crowd went nuts.
