How far away are we before this fad kicks in? There seems to be no limits any more.

I shudder to think about all the ugly, wrinkly tats on septuagenarians in nursing homes fifty years from now.

I have a philosophy that if a person has tattoos and piercings they get no tip. They waste it.

Get a tattoo on young skin? What do you think it will look like on old skin?

People are certainly free to get a tattoo. Just as people are free to think how good or bad it looks.

I've seen some nice tattoos. Very good work. But I see more and more of what I call "prison tattoo". Just awful. Or tattoos that are deformed and washed out due to age and skin changes.

All we had to do to return from our misguided youthful attempts to freak out our parents was get a haircut.

Tattoos are hideous. I go to the gym and see these young guys 20-30 years old covered with them-—do these morons realize that in a few years whatever idiotic thought that led to getting one of them will be gone? If a person is covered with tattoo's they are to stupid to take seriously.
As soon as a guy gets one-—within six months they are covered head to toe.

My 17 year old niece told us over Christmas HS kids are now looking down at getting tat’s. The real rebels have no tat’s

Hope she is right and the trend of tat’s ends.

Skin reacts to tattoo ink as a poison to be expelled. So it sends what ever ink it can to the lymph nodes, where it collects and stays. Eventually this inhibits the ability of the nodes to do their normal job of fighting infections.

Enjoy, tattoo freaks.

Tattoos are stupid on many levels. You'd have to be drunk to get one, which is the way it used to be done. Now, you just have to be stupid.

It used to be you got a tattoo to express your “individuality”

Now you get them to “fit in.”

If you haven’t seen the lip hole stretching thing in the US already, you must be blessed like me to live in no mans land. I do venture into the big city wack zones for work however. It’s Halloween every day there. At my house it’s 1978.

I’ve read where some girls are finding it a bonus to have an unadorned body, just the opposite as when the trend started.

What about the ear stretching...
I think tats are gross. Seems like everyone has them... I’m proud to be a plainskin..
