A team quarterbacked by Ryan Tannehill beat Tom Bradys Patriots in the playoffs in Foxborough. It was the second straight shocking loss for the Patriots, and it ended a season that started with so much promise and hope behind a historically good defense.
The Titans rode the NFL rushing champion, Derrick Henry, to the win. His 178 yards on the ground were the most for a player in the playoffs since Colin Kaepernick had 181 as the San Francisco 49ers quarterback in 2013.
This home loss in the wild-card is uncharacteristic for the Patriots. It prompts questions about the continued viability of a dynasty that began in 2001. One of the main characters, Brady, is now a free agent, and though it seems unlikely, its possible one of the greatest quarterbacks ever has played his last game with the only franchise hes ever known.

Also not to forget a flawless punting game.
If they can’t cheat they cant win.
Mr “I simply misinterpreted the rules” will be fined for the last cheat he was caught on.

#Patriots QB Tom Brady, on his plans for the offseason, says, Who knows what the future holds? He says he loves playing for the #Patriots and describes retirement as hopefully unlikely.
I dont know what the future looks like, so Im not going to predict it.
-Sounds like a guy who may see that the end is at hand.
Not at all. Receivers not good outside of Edelman. No tight end to replace Gronk. They let go 39 year old Ben Watson and bright him back because they didnt have a better option. The OL was not great. Good but not a good good as previous years. Their offense was weak from training camp. If AB was not a nut job, he would have changed their whole season.
I am no Patriots fan, but their offense outside of Brady is probably a 3-13 team.
Before my time and don’t know much about him.
doesn’t sound good though!
Nah. The former Texans are now then KC Chiefs.
Many think he wants to coach without Brady to prove who is responsible for the dynasty. I tend to lean that way. They still have arguably the best D in the league and there is no need to rebuild. He and the team are second to none in building a team. They need a QB but beyond that they can quickly fill the other needs.
He is a free agent now. Maybe Carolina will take him for a year.
Thank you Titans, from a grateful nation.
“Dont think titans can beat Lamar if Ingram is in good shape”
definitely ... lamar jackson is unbelievable ...
If Josh McDaniels gets a head coaching job, does Brady follow him?
Ryan Tannehill grew up in Big Spring, Texas and went to college at Texas A& M, not South Carolina.
Edelman is OKAY, top 10 in the league today. Patriots have no receivers, that is the only reason they lost. No deep threat, no tight end since Gronk is gone. Tennessee looked EXTREMELY STRONG. They look a lot like SF. I think they have a real chance to beat Baltimore. They are strong where they need to be, running the football. That will keep the ball away from Ravens QB.
I thought you were claiming the Patriots were going to go undefeated and win another Super Bowl. What happened Rino Puff?
Pats have very poor receivers, IMO of course.
Stink stank and stunk
Houston and Buffalo was a squeaker, tied at the end of regulation.
Houston managed to pull out an OT win.
That was a big senior moment. Sorry Texas!
Puh-lease!
He was a "stick-um" era player. Didn't even have to use his hands to catch the ball.
