De Blasio’s Domino’s outrage sums up why businesses are fleeing NYC
NY Post ^ | 4 Jan 2020 | Kevin D. Williamson

Mayor de Blasio’s batty attention has for the moment lighted upon Domino’s Pizza, which sold pies to New Year’s Eve revelers in Times Square for $30,,,

The outrage! Hilton execs had better hope His Honor doesn’t find out that their Times Square hotel charges about 13 times its usual rate for a room on Dec. 31. God help the poor florists if this dope ever hears about Valentine’s Day.

...Partly that is genuine ignorance — they hate capitalism so much that they never bothered to learn how it works and why. Part of it is the need for political scapegoats — for every disappointment in this vale of tears, there is a cackling Scrooge McDuck swan-diving into a pile of gold doubloons, and he is to blame.

The difference between Domino’s and Bill de Blasio? Domino’s delivers.

I go to airports and even if I’m starving, no way in hell will I pay $5 for a slice. If some one is that stoned and that hungry to pay $30 and there’s no weapon to his head, then phuck Deblasio! All service companies Jack their rates for holidays and events, want then cheap? Wait for the day after! You know how cheap fresh Christmas trees are on Dec. 26th?

Do you buy your Christmas tree on Dec 26?

Now, that would be an amazing display of salesmanship.

Such a deal!

Mayor Wilhelm has obviously never bought a hamburger at Disney World.

De Blasio was re-elected by a huge margin, but is term limited. He will not be running in 2021.

As someone who has to ride the atrocious MTA everyday, I am more concerned about getting rid of Sonny Cuomo. NYC has the worst subway system in the hemisphere (and also the busiest), which is nothing but a series of patch jobs. That’s all on Andy Boy.

8.5% of New Yorkers voted for de Blasio. Is that a mandate?

Election Fraud on a National Scale?

Turnout is irrelevant. His pathetic opponent got crushed and the numbers were way too big to suggest voter fraud.

Turnout is very relevant is more people cast votes than the number of votes counted.

If you go back and look at past NYC mayoral elections, this is a much lower turnout.

Some food for thought.

True but if New Yorkers “hated” Blas as much as the NY Post does (and I do), then there would have been a primary challenge or more people voting for the opposition candidates.
