My husband was a WW2 vet
I was NG During the cold war era but never went to war, although as a missionary I worked in a war zone.
My son in law served in both Gulf wars. His son is in the Navy.
Anyone with military expertise knows that the wars of the future will not need large numbers of people for cannon fodder, but people with certain skills. Calling for a draft is stupid since it will not draft the ones with needed skills.
“We NEED” to do this and that...
