Legendary singer Meat Loaf has accused teenage climate-change activist Greta Thunberg of being "brainwashed," saying he believes there is no such thing as climate change.
"I feel for that Greta," he told U.K.'s Daily Mail. "She has been brainwashed into thinking that there is climate change and there isn't.
"She hasn't done anything wrong but she's been forced into thinking that what she is saying is true."
The rocker, who campaigned with Mitt Romney in 2012 and worked with Donald Trump on "The Apprentice" back in 2010, previously claimed that he lost a few gigs thanks to politics.
"I've been banned from two TV shows," he told Esquire in a 2012 interview. "Because USA Today has me listed as a Republican.
"I've heard those stories," he added "But I didn't really believe they'd do that."
The musician also said his political views were complicated. "I'm neither right nor left, and I'm not sure I'm even in the middle," he said. "I have a lot of views to the left, and I have a lot of views to the right, and that really doesn't put me in the middle. I don't know what that makes me. It makes me weird."
Thunberg has gained international media attention in recent months for her outspoken activism on climate change, including delivering an impassioned speech to the United Nations Climate Action Summit calling out world leaders for not responding to the climate crisis with more urgency.
President Trump, who has repeatedly voiced skepticism about climate change, shared video of Thunberg's speech on Twitter, and above it wrote, sarcastically, that "she seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!"
The same could be said about supporting McCain in 2008. We all saw then what a train wreck 0bama would be, and figured McCain was better than nothing. Then in 2012, once we KNEW what a train wreck 0bama had become, we leaned towards Romney praying he could at least slow the train after 4 years.

Meatloaf; “more than you deserve “.
Love his music. Big fan.
As far as Romney, not a lot of us knew him then like we do now. And most was voting against the demonrats. The fact he supports Trump is all I need to know about that.
It was!
That gal played nothing but albums that night. No ads, no talking just album after album.
HA!
I rarely listen to radio, despite a friend being the DJ for the station I like, but when I do, I switch to my iPod when the 15 minutes of commercials come on, or any RUSH song.
:D
Did NOT like McCain [”son of Cain”, how apt is that?] but Obama was the demon skinwalker whose very voice sent chills of dread through my soul.
I have never listened to him speak for more than the time it took to turn him off because something about him filled me with spiritual horror.
Come to find out later that a LOT of people here were having the same reaction to him.
The man is evil.
Luckily the radio station I listen to only has 15 minutes of ads/bs per hour. Every other station seems to play ads after every 4 songs. As bad as tv.
We have DirecTV and dvr everything.
Mom has cable and no dvr.
Until I started going to visit her in the evenings and watch Gunsmoke reruns, I’d forgotten how insane I get during the 5 minutes of commercials every 10 minutes.
Makes me wanna gnaw my paw off to escape, so to speak.
:D
He would do anything for Love.
But he won’t do that.
I have DTV too and I also dvr everything. Makes watching much more enjoyable.
When I was truck driving I carried dvds with me. I bought whatever series I liked and carried them with me. No commercials.
When I came home and retired the commercials on tv drove me CRAZY.
My mom has DTV but doesn’t dvr or even pause the program if the phone rings.
At 86 I guess she’s just so used to the commercials she pays them no mind.
The best to brain wash Greta is to give her an enema!
“Two outta Three aint bad ;-) “
No you din’t.
Folks, we have a winner for the week. See Jasmine down the hall in Corporate Promotions to pick up your prize.
Like a Bat Out of Hell!!!
I have CD’s of most of his albums.
And the second.
So many cameos. Art Carney as Meatloafs Dad is absolutely classic.
"How about the time you got thrown in jail for killing that old ladies goat? He covered for you then. Or how about the time you came walking into town stark naked, said you were abducted by a UFO? Sheeeeeeit!"
Per the RIAA’s Top Album Tallies page, 14 million copies of Bat Out Of Hell have been sold in the US. That make it the 34th best-selling album of all-time in America, right behind Garth Brooks’ Robin’ in the Wind.
FWIW, the top ten are
The Eagles Greatest Hits (38MM),
Thriller (33MM),
Hotel California (26MM),
Back in Black (25MM),
The Beatles (24MM),
Billy Joel’s Greatest Hits (23MM),
Led Zeppelin IV (23MM),
The Wall (23MM),
Garth Brooks Double Live (21MM), and
Cracked Rear View Mirror (21MM).
Just pointing out that Bruce Springsteen doesn’t make this list.
Although 15mm people may have wasted their money on “Born in the USA,” SPRINGSTEEN STILL SUCKS.
:)
I heard Soleimani was listening to “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” when he left the airport last night...
And Springsteen still sucks, thanks for the ping.
Springsteen sounds like he’s been trying to make a bowel movement for the last 50 years. The building that housed the old 914 Studios in Clarkstown, NY, where the, ahem,”groundbreaking” Greetings From Asbury Park album was produced has been landmarked by the Rockland County Historical Society. Can’t miss it, it’s right next to the Gentlemen’s Club, a notorious strip joint.
Let me sleep on it.
