Oh no! I’m with greeneyes on this one bagster. This is the 10th year of the decade. Otherwise there would only be 9 years. It really is just how time is counted differently. We have to finish this year to make the count 10. My kids turned 10 after completing 10 cycles of 365 days not at the end of 9 cycles.

Yes, my kid was in his 1st year of life. And when he completed it he was 1. Before that kids are aged by their months, 3, 6, 9 etc. A mother never tells you her newborn 1 until after 365 days.

Just like a two month old child is in the 1st year of his life. Not the zero year of his life.

It is a date contained in the 20th year correct. But it is a date contained in the 10th year of this decade. 2010 was the 10th year of the Century not 2009.
