It’s like how many lifelong Dems feel about their party now.

Being from Indiana, I’ve never had a Whataburger, but have always heard good things.

My Whataburger memory- as a TXDOT employee, I was out on a bridge deck pour on I 35W many a night. Eating at the Whataburger on Western Center was a welcome break at 1:30 in the morning.

Whataburger will not cook you a hamburger. Just pre cooked patties out of bin.

I have asked several locations to cook me one.

*What?

Yes, just like in your commercials. That you will cook me a burger when I order.

*We don't do that.

They can't even nuke in a microwave to melt the cheese.

The salt? They dumped seasoning the meat years ago.

The ones around Waco are good except there's one in particular that I've learned to order with no lettuce - otherwise you'll end up with a head of half-assed chopped iceberg (core and all) on your burger.

Didn’t have any Whatabugers in the north country. Had White Castle, tho, if you like gutbombs.

Hey the libs in Newsweek love them...so it may soon be the end

Whataburger is humbled to be recognized as #3 on Newsweek’s 2020 list of America’s Best Customer Service brands in the Fast Food category. We’d like to thank our customers, who inspire us to be our best in all the cool ways they express themselves, and we are truly honored by this recognition.

The customer service experience doesn’t just begin and end at the counter. Whataburger is where memories are made. From celebrating the home team’s victory on a Friday night, to a late-night college study break and even hosting weddings, our customer service team serves more than just burgers – it’s an experience to be remembered.

Newsweek partnered with analytics firm Statista to survey more than 20,000 U.S. customers who have either made purchases, used services or gathered information about products or services in the past three years. The results provided information about brick and mortar stores, online retailers and service providers from 160 categories, spanning a broad spectrum of customers.

In-N-Out Burgers are the very best bang for the buck. Great taste and great price. Five Guys are very good also BUT, they are seriously Overpriced.
We had a Culvers just open near us recently. Never heard of Culvers. Gave them a shot. Great burgers. Great price. But, you have to wait in designated waiting areas to have them delivered so, if you’re in a hurry this could be an issue for you.

Fwiw, when I returned from overseas, I headed to WHATABURGER for a “double double” = DISAPPOINTED doesn’t come near to how disgusted that I felt that day.

Just NOT the same place, as when I went OCONUS for sure.

I have been in Texas 8 years. I have never been able to stand WB. Tasteless patties the width of a peice of paper in way too much breading. They have the audacity to call a cheesburger on Texas toast a Patty Melt?

there is a Tommy’s near where I work in CA along with an In N Out and Carls Jr. Hamburger happy!

I grew up in Louisiana. WB was my fave. I moved away 7 years ago and often thought about a WB when/if I go back to visit. Sad to hear they might not be what I remember.
