Obviously more women need to be incarcerated!

It shows that women chose to take majors in liberal arts. That is a far different course of study than a STEM oriented curriculum.

When getting aid to start businesses, women have a much easier time getting financial aid to help them. I suspect the same goes for college: “Female students can find financial aid opportunities that are completely exclusive to them”
And I’d bet most colleges now days create policies that benefit women over men.
As far as men prone to crime: Take the crime out of the equation for Detroit, Chicago, DC, Baltimore and a few others, I’ll bet that “prone to crime” factor disappears.

It finds large gender gaps favoring women throughout the sentence length distribution (averaging over 60%), conditional on arrest offense, criminal history, and other pre-charge observables. Female arrestees are also significantly likelier to avoid charges and convictions entirely, and twice as likely to avoid incarceration if convicted.
