That one is my favorite for the lovely music.

Few can listen to the duet by Meredith Braun and Michael Caine "When love is gone" without getting a bit misty eyed.

Rabid leftists at the LA Slime ranking Christmas carols. Is this a joke? Leftists do not even recognize Christmas. Go home to your “happy holidays,” whatever they are.

I like the 1951 Alistair Sims version the best. Very faithful adaptation.

Personally, Albert Finney as “Scrooge!” is the best version. Great music, and Finney is brilliant as Ebenezer. Add in Alec Guinness playing a comedic Marley, and it ranks above the others in my book.

The Muppet Christmas Carol is superb.

Caine could have just mailed in his performance but instead he delivered my favorite Scrooge ever.

It’s an excellent film in every respect and remains surprisingly faithful to the book.

The L.A. Times should have had that parody with the endless chanting of “Feliz Natividad”.

Spanish speakers are a huge part of their readers these days, after all.

To say the new guy Pearce version is dark is an understatement. Weird to boot.

“The Man Who Invented Christmas” is my favorite. But you have to know the classic story to follow it with max enjoyment.

I’ll vote for the one with George C. Scott. Still the best I’ve seen.

Oh yeah a few years ago Lifetime or some local ran a 1978 version of Christmas Carol called An American Carol with Henry Winkler.

There is a version Disney’s “A Christmas Carol” which is excellent IMO.

It’s not animated like a cartoon. I don’t know what techniques were used to make it, but I like it. The candle “Christmas Past” is very well done.
