It might be easy to get offended at this Babylon Bee satire, but try not to. The Babylon Bee is a fairly conservative, relatively Christian-centric electronic publication. If anything, they are trying to tweak liberals with a satirical over-the-top Trumpistic 'quote'.

Trump called the magazine a “left-wing rag” and said, “I have done more for Christianity than Jesus.”.
That is a very brave statement for President Trump to say that he has 'done more for Christianity than Jesus'.
Personally, I would never juxtapose myself to Jesus. The President is giving the perception that he outshines Jesus.
I would suggest the President defer from doing so.
